I'm beginning to wonder if she still has mouth problems. I've been watching her eat and she still only chews on one side and makes really loud crunchy/grinding noise as well as she has a small lump on the under side of her lower jaw.
So as soon as finances recover from the holidays I'm going to see about taking her to the vet's and have them recheck her mouth again. And have them check the lump on her jaw.
If she still has a bad tooth or a root they missed that could be why she can't quite hang on to the OTJ trial. She's so close but just can't quite make it so before I switch her insulin again I want to make sure that she has no other medical issues that are complicating things.
