We started the R insulin last night .25 units with Julie. It brought him down some but may need a larger dose where he is such a high dose cat. Went up to 14.5 units of levermir this morning. Hope he doesn't keep going up to the point where I can't afford his insulin. Guess we'll cross that bridge then. I read in a post that acro cats have pot bellies and are always hungry. Toby is both. So Could be acro. The 2 Vets. I asked about his belly said that was the way he was built. He has had the belly for 5 or 6 years. He also
has inflammatory pancreatitis so I thought he may have just had fluid in his belly. The good thing is that it doesn't seem to bother Toby. Wish us luck on the dose increase. Take care, Peg and Toby
