WCR: Half of the Ps in place. We have pees & poops :woot: (fairly big & solid!); purrs & a little tiny bit of preening. I got my warm kitty snuggles last night and kisses this morning. Yesterday morning, Shasta burrowed under the covers with me (this is her norm, but especially when it's cold!) and she stretched out along my side/hip/leg. The way she was laying allowed me to rub her belly (something she does not let me do anymore). When I got to the back portion, I felt something hard. I felt it again and tried not to freak out. It was kind of long (maybe 4 inches or so) and at first I thought that maybe I was rubbing her foot. I didn't get much more time to feel around before she was ready to bite my arm off, but later, I tried feeling for it again while she was standing up...nope. Felt nothing. But she did poop a big one...about 4 inches or so. Really?!?!?! Did I really feel her poop inside of her?!?! eeewwwwww! o_O

Ok, so yesterday, I put together some information on Ondansetron...some of it from FDMB (I copied and pasted several conversations of y'alls experience w/ Ondansetron & what has worked with your kitties; including @Anne & Zener GA /Liz's vet's phone # and name in case he is willing to call and talk to vetty) and some from internet sources (thank you, Marje, for your Primer on P'titis & those sources; only sad that Tanya's site was down at the time :() and I wrote a note to my vet begging him to reconsider writing a script for Ondansetron. I dropped it off at his clinic and spoke to his office manager (who is his wife) and tried to explain what the note was and why; and yes, I teared up and almost broke down. She was very sweet and said that she would give it to him. I'm praying that I hear back from them today and I hope it's good news. Let's be honest, I doubt I have much more time with my little girl, but I want to make sure that she is as happy and as pain free as possible until she tells me it's time. There's nothing I wouldn't do for my girl. :kiss: Thank you, all, for your support and guidance. Have a blessed day!

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Morning Deborah :coffee::coffee::coffee:

A nice Shasta report. Love the covers burrowing. Always a fave of mine. You're doing great Shasta!

I will hope your vet comes around, and listens and reads the info you have provided. Sometimes I think vets have a hard time believing us educated care givers. I can still remember the day I had to educate mine on the ins and outs of using the pens, vs the vials, for insulin. They had no clue, and are now giving their clients the option. I hope yours will come around. Many good vines for that.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well. Surf well Shasta!
