Yesterday was day 2 of the Bounce. The good news is that it was, for the most part, a flat yellow bounce, until his +11. ohmygod_smile At least he didn't stay pink for long. PHEW! It looks like Mannie is back to having those "resting days" in between good cycles. Well - OK, as long as they are yellow and not "that other color" :lol: :lol: Mannie - Lubs ya big guy, no matter what color you are! cat_pet_icon well, so.... can we do something about that pink this morning?

All is well in MannieLand. :-D And the snows continue.... and the cold... and now the winds.... I could have sworn I heard Mannie mumbling in his sleep "no! no more! My pee froze yesterday before I was dun! Nooooooooooooooo! My fur stands on end cuz the air is so dry! Even Binks couldn't fix it! noooooooooooooooooooooooo! My whiskers have frost bite. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I am so dun! make it go away! " I have no idea what he was talking about. :lol: We continue to be very cold, for us - a whopping 28, for at least another day. :shock: :roll: Mannie did spend sometime today watching the snow fall from the front window. The rest was spent sleeping in his bed, or tending to the nanners. What a life! We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie, and back to some kneads today! Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used,Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept. Such a high level of normalcy in MannieLand, even without the kitty choir, the whack-2-thons.

Have a great day everyone! Due to the HORRID roads conditions this morning DGS is staying home with his mom, she will work from home today. I will miss him, but also can't see the logic of hauling a one year old that distance on roads that are severely compromised: we are so iced up, driving is well... messed up! so.... it will be an at home day for me and Mannie and Elsa. Doing what - I have no idea. :lol: :lol:

Ok everybody - we only got one more day and the they say that our snow is going back to where it came from. i dunno what that means but I thinks we gots to play while we can! Sooooo.... I got out the hose last night, let the water go everywhere (weeeeeeeeeeeeee, that was fun) and made us an ice skating rink! true! Right next to the ski jump! My bean said some bad words... I dunno why... but she did.... anyways! ICE SKATING! oh! Let's grill too! You guys in? ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle ~O) ~O) I was thinking about this morning when I saw pics of Seattle on the Weather Channel, yikes with the snow and ice! The pics are beautiful and so wintry wonderland like, but better to look at from the inside! :-D
Mannie, what's up there on the pink floor and hope you come down today! Good idea to stay home or take a walk thru the neighborhood. I bet you miss DGS but with the road conditions, it's nice his Bean can work from home on a snow day. I heard the schools were closed, too! Have a nice day.

Mannie, great with the ice skating rink! We have to enjoy the snow while it lasts. I'll bring some hot cider with cinnanum sticks for all of us today. See you soon as same spot, Maggie

For something that can wreck havoc, fresh snow sure makes the world look innocent. Stay warm.

Mannie and T are playing on the pink floor this morning. I hear you on the resting days. Tarragon, unfortunately, thinks red is his color on those days. Hope Mannie clears it soon and takes T with him!

Brrrrr and ohhhhhh on your cold and snow. Hate the cold, but love the snow. It looks so pretty. Great idea to hang out with the kids today. I bet you will miss Nicholas, but everyone needs to stay where it is safe and warm. Some really scary looking roads on the news today in Seattle.

Hi guys .. ok mannie .. off the pink floor please! Poor guy ... frozen pee, frostbitten whiskers, hair standing on end .. what will be next?? Can't believe all the snow you have received .. and we still just have a light dusting .. crazy .. have a great day guys!

Hi Ann - yes on the ~O) I had to settle for drip at home - way too icy out there to make it to the coffee shop. Might head on up there later, for my walk. :-D yep, lot of very bad icy conditions this morning, with numerous accidents everywhere. :shock: I was glad my DD can work from home, better for DGS.and better for me - I am not too sure i would have made it anyways - most of the accidents are in the area I would have had to travel. And yes on the schools - all of them are.

Hi Linda - i know - darn pink! :lol: on the frostbite! and thanks - we are staying warm. way too BRRRRRR out there.

Hi Devon - it is nuts here, and so not normal for Seattle. And poor Mannie! He will be so glad when it warms up some.

Hi Melissa - What is up with our boys... must be some social event happening on the pink floor. well maybe hey can find the yellow floor together - team work guys! oh yes on the brrrrrr and the cold and the ice. freezing rains today as we begin to transition to our normal weather pattern. the roads are really bad this morning - I am grateful that I am not on them, that my DD was able to stay home with Nicholas. Better for all. Now if my sons will and can do the same.

Mr T! heeheehee on the pic - that does kinda look like me - and i LOVE snow tunnels. I was able to make a couple... just enough snow. We can play chase in there today. SWEET! ~~ Mannie

Oh mannie , not the pink floor again! Don't listen to Binks. Boys don't have to wear pink just 'cause they are ice skating! Binks has a few issues there you know!

Hi Ann - looks like the teeter totter is working perfectly. nice and low for Tess, nice and "high" for Mannie. :roll: :lol: :lol: LOL on the Binks thing. Funny pic to - love that.

Tess! That would be an affirmative! :-D on the winter park. It is really cool! I've been doing flips off of teh ski jump this morning - WOO HOO! Maggie's been skating - she's really good. It is true - a warming house!! My bean said she's help with the catmint mochas, and make sure the fire-pit has hot coals and stuff... grilllin'! See you soon! ~~ Mannie

embrace it's beauty, look at how pristine it makes everything look, how crisp the air is....

It's beautiful the first 3 days then it gets to be a pain, but we have learned how to love our snow days--cook, nest, and of course, eat comfort food! Hope it clears enough for you to be able to drive safely--

Oh it looks so freezing cold there!! I can't believe it!!! I hope you and DGS stay in and warm. Poor Mannie....his pee froze? Really?

Mannie...did you see how good I skated? My mamabean is a figure skater and she taught me!!! I love my skates and Tobes was so funny. He couldn't wait to take Herbie back to your house and make cimmamum cookies with Elsa!!!

Hi Michelle, Seattle's snow has been featured on National Public Radio for the past few days. The roads sound like they're one continuous accident! I'm really glad that your DD could stay home and work. When they get the roads clear of ice and snow, there will still be some snow on the ground for you and Nicholas to play in. The ice and freezing rain are the worst. Be careful out there!!

Some parts of our region are expected to get "lake effect" snow tonight (8-10 inches), but here near the High Peaks we are only expecting 1-3 inches. I hope there will be enough to ski on tomorrow.

Mannie is having another one of those high days, it seems. Weird rhythm of cycles lately. At least he's yellow tonight and hopefully on the way back down.

Have a good evening and stay off the roads!! Thanks for visiting Rusty today while I was out snowshoeing (I like my new snowshoes a lot; they are MSR and made in Seattle).

Hi Roni - oh wow: the mess that this snow has caused! yep - beautiful for the first three days, now we all wish it would go away. :lol: :lol: Now we have the freezing rains... NASTY! I am glad that I don't have to go anywhere... Mannie has decided yellow is the ticket... for now. :-D

Hi Marje - Well, we made yellow... hopefully blue is next. paws crossed. Yes, we are cold! 27 right now,s till snowing, freezing rain a little south of us. what a mess it all is - pretty, but such a pain... :lol: :lol: DGS has been at home with his mom and dad. The roads are so bad that none of us wanted to deal with getting him transported, as many are closed. her office closed too, so she was home. and LOL - he went out once to do his business, and yes it froze, within seconds. It's been LB since then. :lol: :lol:

Hi Ella - Oh yes... we seem to be on everyone's news! So many people have stayed home - I can only imagine how many more accidents we would have if they didn't. Today was just awful - so much ice. And yes on having a little left for Nicholas when he is back here. They way it is now is almost too much for him: comes up to his waist! and I hope you get enough to ski on. Nice on your new snowshoes - I will have to remember that brand. I want to get some! -- and yep on Mannie - its a weird one - three days now of a bounce - back to that again. UGH!

I guess your snow made national news down there too!!! Just like Vancouver huh? :lol: I hope the snow eases off soon so you can get back to DGS duty, I bet you miss him and I'm sure Mannie misses the cheerios and baby fuds.

Hi Tracy - that it did! Seattle snow is famous! :lol: :lol: :lol: it has been dubbed "SNOWMAGEDDON". :shock: too darn funny. It is beautiful out there, but i will also be glad when things improve and we can all get back to getting around. Nad yes - sure do miss the little guy. :-D No doubt to that Mannie misses all the handouts! I think so too on the vie skating pics - and binks! :cool:
 
I was just going to say that Mannie would be coming down soon, 'cause Tess is going up. But I see you know that already! :lol: I'm not sure how they are working the teeter totter into the Snow Festival.
