Morning to all; I am really liking this AMPS, but it wasn't easy withholding food with all the begging from that sweet face. I gave in just a little to some chicken freeze dried and a teeny teeny dab of chicken bf. Then I distracted her by brushing and playing with her pole toy mousey thingy. All P's in place this morning. Her poor ear; I am going to give her a break today if numbers cooperate. I will be gone a couple times today. Hope everyone has a nice day.

Nice start to Maggie's day. To answer your question on Simon's post, I use the Catmate C20 automatic feeder. It only has 2 compartments so if you need more compartments, this will not help. I like it because it doesn't do the whirring noise, instead the door just pops open. I got it on Amazon. Simon took to it immediately. Have a wonderful day.

I had to give Maverick's ears a break too - was kind of sad. Slathered the edges with polysporin ointment daily too.

Nice looking AMPS, if you want the Catmate 50 I have one I'd sell. never really used it as I couldn't set it for the close times I feed Tess. PM me.Where in So. Cal are you?

Hi Karrie; I know poor ears of Maggie and Maverick. It seems I just can't get a drop from her other ear, so I'm not rotating!

Morning Ann & Tess. Thank you; that is so sweet, but I actually am going to just exchange the PetSafe 2 compartment one I now have in my car trunk. I am going to pm you just in case you don't see this note. Thanks again. The last time I tried the 5 compartment one, Maggie just left the food in it. You would think if they were hungry enough, they would eat from it!

Morning! Maggie - very nice amps. Good job - surf well today. maybe a trip to the greens for you.

Good luck with the feeder - I hope it all works out for you. It is an ongoing adventure for us.

This may seem a little strange, but Maggie seemed to want to be tested; maybe it was the treat she wanted. I had a feeling she was going to drop, as I shot the .50. I'll check again.

Thanks Michelle, PeterDevonMocha, Celi and Christie & Willie . Maggie is having a good day; I think it's the Full Moon has something to do with it! I had to go out for two hours after the +3 and just topped her regular lc food with a bit of hc gravy, not much, just enough so I wouldn't worry about her when gone.

Looks like the ears didn't get much of a break :lol: I am like you, Ann.. I just cant seem to keep from feeding.. so I have to leave the house or play the distraction game too ;-)

Hi, I just got home in time to test her and then give her shot. I had an eye appt - I should know better than to make a late afternoon appt. I think the 149 bg was the spike from the teeny bit of hc I gave her when I had to leave for a couple hours. Now I know she will be okay.

Hi Nicole & Baby. So glad to hear from you, I can't begin to imagine what you've been going thru and also your Mom. I've been thinking about you and sending prayers. Hang in there as I know it can't be easy. How is Baaby I have to catch up on condos, too.
That's right; I forgot today was the day I was going to give her ears a break; then I had to keep testing to make sure she was okay. Oh poor Maggie and always so cooperative.
