Happy Caturday. Sending many healing vines to Moonie, Mannie, Noni, Bubba, Fitzel and any others who need them. Also sending our condolences to Anne (Muffin's mom), and also prayers to Lyresa (Sir Scruffy).
Yesterday was a NDW day....today...Drama Queen day. Glad I got that +1. Seems to be a new thing the last month that she dives once the NDW is over or if she's clearing a bounce. I hope I can get her to settle out on this dose and flatten. She's doing great...she and Tobes
slept curled up with me last night until Tobey decided at 3:30 am to barf up a little hair. Then Gus got me up at 5:30 to eat. But our little brown girl has been happy and playful this morning and is now racing around with her brother and slapping at her little catnip cigar
as she zooms by it
Per the vet, we stopped the denamarin and ursodiol and will recheck her in one month. Wendy (Neko) asked if I'm giving her something else for hairballs since I had to stop the coconut oil. No....but she hasn't been having hairballs lately (anti jinx). When we brush her every day, I use a damp cloth to go over her fur to pull out any stray hairs and hope that will help. The dramatic decrease in her triglycerides from over 700 to 90 in one month pretty much points the finger at the coconut oil. And yet, it does not seem to have the same effect on the other cats so it just has to be the way Gracie metabolizes stuff.
Have a great day!!!!!
