Yesterday's Condo

WCR: Poor Gabby. Her morning foray to the scratching post was rudely interrupted at mid-stretch and scratch by a kitten intent on a flying tackle. Breakfast is done and all 5 Ps were observed and in good order.

WBR: I woke up with a kitty firmly snuggled by my side. I wish I didn't have to go to tbp today. I'd much rather be snuggling with kitties.

Nice start to the day for Gabby & Mommy bean.
Got to get Gizmo with the program.
Call a snow day, there must be snow somewhere and
enjoy the snuggle with the kitties.

I haven't a clue what Gabby is doing. This cycle looks weird so far. The only thing I did differently was to give Gabby some extra food since her numbers were dropping before I walked out the door.

I think it's pretty obvious what Gabby is doing. Gabby wants mama bean to stay home.

Or else maybe take the kitten with her to TBP and leave it there!! :lol:

That made me giggle! If I did not have evidence of headbutting, mutual grooming, and their occasional curling up together, I would say you are absolutely correct -- Gabby would be happier without the kitten. However, Gabby was a kitten with my 8 yo civie and they adored each other. A couple of my friends think I need another kitten to keep Gizmo occupied. I just worry they'd gang up on Gabby! And yes, Gabby would like me to be at home but I do need a way to pay for strips.

Strips -- what an excuse! :mrgreen: I'm sure Gabby loves Gizmo. But maybe you should crumble some treats into Gizmo's fur. I'll bet Gabby would love him even more then! Gizmo might get a free bath. :lol:

Just looked at you ss and I really can't make any sense out of it myself. The only thing I can say is that Gabby is being a cat????
I also just looked at your kitty pictures...this is the first time I noticed that link and I have to say that those are some pretty awesomely cute kitties you got there! Gabby is so beautiful and Gizmo has such a beautiful coat. He reminds me of a kitty I once had, his name was Kid. I can also say that staying in bed snuggly with a kitty is a dream day! Wish we could all do that.

I agree with Deb on two counts....I think Gabby might just be being "a cat"....and those are GREAT pictures!!! What super cute babies you have! :smile:

I have no answers about the AM cycle, but it looks like tonight could have some action. Of course it if were typical Gabby action she would already be blue by now, but at least there is some movement.

Deb & Chris - thanks. I just put the link in earlier today. A friend is as close to a professional photographer as you can get and he loves animals. He takes photos of my kitties every time they come for a visit. The pics of Gabby and Gizmo were from October. Gizmo is as big as Gabby now and his coat is really coming in. He's going to be very big and very furry. They are both wonderful kitties.

Gabby insisted on being tested. (Well, what she really wanted was a snack.) At least her numbers are coming down.
