We had another very good start to today...happy, social, snuggly kitty with a happy appy. Gelcap went down easily, as did her Banana Meds - although she does say "Belch!" to those! But, they are MUCH easier than trying to get 4 additional gelcaps down her every day. If we did have to do the additional gelcaps for the second AB, we'd be in trouble....we are fortunate to have a variety of options these days.
She even curled up and snoozed on my lap while I was watching TV this morning, making it very challenging to muster the energy to get ready for work.
Trix was feeling a little "blah" for part of yesterday, but I'm sure that's to be expected, what with all the ABs and everything else. She did perk up as the evening progressed. It was the type of "blah" that - surprisingly - did NOT send me into a tailspin. My gut instinct told me it was just a little blip, I guess because she obviously felt so awesome earlier in the day.
Her cranberry treats and probiotics came yesterday. She has not objected at all about the probiotics in her fuds, but she doesn't like the cranberry treats. She seems interested in them flavor-wise, but it's the texture she doesn't like .... they are "hard and chewy" (as opposed to "soft and chewy" or "hard and crunchy"), like a very stale gummy bear. I tried breaking them up into teeny pieces, but she still kept spitting them out and then finally gave up.
Any more ideas for other treats or means of getting the d-mannose into her? I appreciate any and all suggetions!!
I'm at work...time to start working. Have a great day, L&LL!!

Not that us FD people are the overreacting type or anything!
