Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty bounced. We are going by the ReliOn Micro now, so it will be interesting to see what happens today with his bgs. The strips I ordered from ADW yesterday were shipped yesterday!
Rusty had a good night and a good morning routine, including a splendid play with the sparkle-tinsel wand and crinklesack, various boxes, and a few mice.

Our weather today is "extreme": black ice on the roads, whirling snow from the high winds, and temperatures dropping through the 'teens. We decided not to go on the bushwhack. It would have been difficult for Edward in normal conditions because of his eyesight, but today it would be brutal in that wind, making our way through blowing snow with branches constantly in our faces, and not nearly enough snow on the ground to cover all the rocks and roots. It sounded really unappealing. Hopefully tomorrow's snowshoe hike will pan out. It, at least, is on a trail!

Sending healing vines and positive thoughts to Sid and Lydia today. Get well, buddy! And vines are going out to all kitties and beans in need of them.

Hey kitties: let's go somewhere warm and sunny today, OK? Like maybe a beach. I hear that Mannie may be snowed in, so I'll be sure to bring a snow shovel.

Good idea to stay home. That sounds really nasty out there.

Rusty, Mannie needs rescuing? Do we need the snowmobiles? It's too cold for the beach here even! -- Tess

Unappealing, what a tame word for such conditions! It's hide in bed conditions for me.

Morning Ella, wow if that's a bounce, I'll take it. Good idea to not go on the bushwhack! I take it that is the same thing as a snowshoe walk! ADW ships really fast; I am amazed how quickly I get my strips. Have a nice day and keep warm.

Too cold here, too. It's only 41 degrees right now, and I hope my car starts.

Morning! I think you may win the weather prize! hat sounds brutal to say the least. They are telling all of us her to stay off the roads - hmmmmm... sounds like a fun day for us too! Probably a wise idea not to go on the bushwhack. The snowshoe hike though sounds good - I hope you get to go.

Nice start for Rusty. and good luck with the new meter. His Numbers still look great. I like ADW - they always seem to ship same day. The service is good.

Good Morning Ella....wow, I'd like one of those please. :-D Wonderful start to Rusty's day. Radiator time, here we come. :-D

I'm glad you decided to stay home today. Your weather is always nastier than ours. I must admit it looks pretty, but I don't want to walk in it. Susan bought me a pair of those cleat things you attach to our boots. I haven't tried them yet.
Pre-surgery, I'da been out trying to walk up the hill by now.....post surgery, I'm chicken nailbite_smile
Hope you get to use those new snowshoes tomorrow.

It's harder than it looks, to walk in them. Once DH walked/tramped, every inch of our front yard, just to cover it with patterns.
It looked really interesting, but he was exhausted and sweating, by the time he was done.

Looking for good numbers from Mr Rusty today :-D

Hi guys .. not to bad of a start for rusty .. I know we got used to him in green, but I am sure it won't be long! Glad that you guys decided to stay in today .. sounds like it's a super nasty day there .. hope tomorrow is better so you can get out .. have a great day!

A very nice bounce for Rusty today (if there could be such a thing as a nice bounce!) I'm sure he will be green in no time.

Yuck on your weather, it sounds nasty there. We still are under a wind chill warning with temps -50C, schools are cancelled and people being advised to stay home. I think we should all go with the kitties today to a nice beach somewhere :-D

Hi again,
Rusty's bounce has cleared! We have had some wonderful plays today and even now, in his usual "down time", he wants to play. We just finished a rousing chase with the wand and its streamers and he's downstairs meowing for more. Interesting that he hardly ever comes upstairs except at bedtime. Even when we call him to come upstairs (where we have our studies and therefore spend a lot of time), he won't come. Must be because of something in his past lives.

Hope you all are staying warm today. Our walk to the post office was brutal: with the wind chill it was the equivalent of 20 below zero (but the temperature was +10, so you can imagine how fierce the wind was). My feet are only just now thawing out!

I remember those temps when I was young and dumb. We were at Telemark for the weekend and determined not to waste it. I was about 10 seconds down the "Rollercoaster" and my glasses totally frosted over. Needless to say I didn't make it past the first hairpin! The next week I got an appointment to get contacts! :lol: :lol:

Looks like we had 2 mini bounces today; PMPS shot had a drop left in the syringe; Great playing today.
