For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hour energy coffee, AND Double shot espresso, beans from high in the Andes Mountains.... , and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles and white chocolate curls.......... OOOOOOOOOOO!, PRIMO! Only the best for all my customers....OH! Tea infusions too, by request. they is primo! I SWEAR! Today: cimmamum spice!

HEALTH/DOSE INFO: Yesterday was..... recovery day in MannieLand. He really does seem to be feeling better, small baby steps to get there. All meds are on board: Bupe for Pain, Cabalamin for appy/nausea/gastro well-being and Zeniquin as an AB. Mannie continues to make small improvements. LB is normal, he is a bit more social, on the mend. We are in the process of switching out the MC for some of his usual LC and the response was positive - first time in several days for that. :cool: We've had a couple of rejects, to be expected I think. Overall eating is good, he has come a few times and asked for food. We will continue with the bupe, as there are a few times when I still get a very slight moan when picked up. I'm not too sure if it is pain related or he is just protesting my disturbing his peace. :roll: We began the Zenequin this morning. I hope he tolerates that well. All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It feels kinda nice to say that. All is well in MannieLand. :cool: :cool: Mannie is recovering well, seems to be getting back on track. Last night was very cool. HE met me at the door when I came home, waited for his dinner, came and sat with me for a while before I crashed on the sofa. Sometimes I think we tend to take this little occurrences for granted, until one day they stop happening. So it was with Mannie. It's nice to have them back. I made a point of stopping what I was doing and spend some time with him, each time he approached, each time he he walked by, each time he curled up for a nap. It was just so nice to see these everyday things happen once again, and not see him curled up hiding... DGS brought him nanners yesterday - the candy cane ones. and A fee others. He had this chant going while he was taking care of delivery: "For man-NIE!" over and over again. i loved it! :cool: Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. AND!!! The president and CEO of the CPC was back on duty: not a morsel left... Now that is normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am on DGS duty today. It will be a say will be a swim day for Nicholas, and then hopefully we can find a nice outdoor spot. I am not too sure at this point if that will be doable or not. We will try the pool, and then let the day evolve for him. I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here.. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue think green kitties!

Hey everybody!!! What's up! I feel SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDD today. heeheehee. My bean says it's the bupe. I dunno - I think it is cuz I am getting better. SO! Let's roll! I'm thinking road trip! We cab visit all of our favorite haunts. Lets' start with breffis in the treehouse and then a few night tuna toddys on the radiators. WHat'd'ya think? OK? You guys in? Morning Michelle and what a nice Mannie condo. Good to hear he's doing those little things he used to like greeting you when coming home and especially the cpc, down to the last morsel. :-D Sending good vines for the Zenequin to be okay with Mannie. So cute with DGS and the nanners and little voice. Nice pics of DGS and Whatcom Falls, sounds like a neat place all around. Have a great swim and adventure today with DGS. Thanks on the links.

Hey Mannie, sounds great with a road trip and visits and hot toddys on the radiator. We can stop along the way and sightsee and shop and eat. What fun. Hi Michelle & Mannie, Good Morning!

It is so great to see "normalcy in MannieLand" in your condo again. He sounds so much better. Keep it going, Mannie! Wow that double shot espresso was just the ticket for this morning. It is -9 degrees here (in Long Lake, they reported -32 degrees!!!).

maybe his numbers will get better too. Hope he continues doing well....will you be increasing his dose too? Been checking his urine too I hope? Sending continued healing vines to you Mannie Boy!

Such a good report, all is well in Mannieland! It is a great relief to see he is asking for food! Thanks for coming to visit our Zener. We are a little overwhelmed lately and not getting to as many condos as we would like.

Hi guys wow what a great report!!! and look @ his +4 nice!! WE do take those little things for granted, the greetings at the door are my favorite. I go into a panic if he doesn't come to the door. HEALTH/DOSE INFO: 341 @ +8. Mannie seems good today, even after the AB's. I know it's been only 8 hours since he got it, but so far no obvious reaction, and the LB continues to be normal. Appy was good this AM - a little hesitant with the +2, but he decided it was good and ate what was offered. Now that the AB's are on board I will be increasing Mannie's dose some, to compensate for the elevated BG's one gets with the AB's.

Now we wait a few to see how well he tolerates the AB that he has been given. Paws crossed on that one. The vet called today too to check on Mannie. Thts, to me, is great - she hasn'tmissed a day sine he became sick.

Alanna - THX (!!!) on the pics. We do OK here - alot of very nice scenery, and mountains that are nice. Love it!
Anne, and Liz - Yes on the food - it only happened twice out of the many servings, but I will take what I can get. and I so understand on the overwhelmed - that has been y past 1.5 weeks. It is what happens when out furbabies are sick. I am keeping Zener in my thoughts.
Pat - we are getting there on the fuds. Some he no longer will eat, unfortunate, but so that goes. We will find the right combo. yes on the dose, and yes on the urine. Urine is difficult, as he often goes when I'm not there. it's as if he waits until he knows he is totally alone... :lol:
Ella - yes on the normalcy - so far it is, and I pray it continues. THX on the pics - it is really a great place, even a cold as it was :-D
Ann - THX, those little things make all the difference. THX to on the AB's - oh boy... do I ever hope they settle well with him. THX on the pics, as yes:Whatcom Falls is beautiful, easy to get too, and to hike. perfect for all ages and abilities.

Hey Mannie,

Where are you guys? I must have taken a wrong turn, because I am lost! And to make matters worse, I got locked in a closet all day! I had no idea where I was, I can't see a thing and I took a wrong turn, cause my bean distracted me and I lost count of my steps and forgot where I was. I think I turned left instead of right and went into something and couldn't find my way out! I did find some comfy pillows and blankets and took a nap until I could be rescued! Help! Where am I? MANNIE!

Don't believe anything Maui tells you. She spent the morning squirting on the rugs and after a mini butt washing, Maui grumbled and complained and put herself to futon to sleep all day! She missed all the fun because she didn't like that I washed her bum and had to come up with a whole different excuse, so nobody would know about her little squirty issues. :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH:

Glad you are feeling better and eating again, Mannie. You have all us beans concerned for you and your bean! Keep on eating Mannie! We're rooting for you!

I'm so glad Mannie keeps improving. You're right that it is so easy to take the little things for granted, like being met at the door or sitting on the couch with us. I'm glad Mannie is doing those things with you. I hope he tolerates the ab. Good luck finding the right dose with all his meds.

HEALTH/DOSE INFO: 417 @ PMPS: fuds, shot etc all remained the same. Increase will go in tomorrow. HE was so anxious for his fuds tonight - music to my ears. He was meowing, loudly, and I couldn't dish it up soon enough. wow.... and to think a week ago I was begging for just a mouthful. It is so good to see him getting better.
