1/18 Luci AMPS 184

Very nice yesterday and nice start! Hope you have a great Friday and don’t work to hard, have a great day Sue
I'd love to think so - yesterday was intense - still training - learning about responsive web design...trying to teach this old dog new tricks...no fun :(

I can't believe it's already Friday! Where did the week go? Oh, wait...work, Luci testing, etc. etc.
Yup, that sounds very familiar. I am glad it's Friday... but it also seems like there was so much else I meant to get done...

Hope you'll have a good day at work.

Great #'s for Luci ! she's just cooling it on the beach with her friends :D

That's so cute! Yes, I'm afraid Luci goes 'commando' most of the time...flinging whatever cute cat-kini I try to put on her - off to the side - she prefer's au-naturel for surfing :)

It was an interesting day at work - whew...I'm glad it's over - much more to do....Monday will be here all too soon...

Think Happy thoughts! Monday can be a Great day also!

We always want what we don't have & sometimes we get it & realize it wasn't so great after all! I was injured at work 18 yrs ago. After surgery I was fired because I couldn't do the job I was hired to do. ( I was the only woman in Public Service Water Department( 17 yrs),,installing water meters , & a whole lot more.)

I tried fighting it for 3 yrs but couldn't go any longer because i didn't have any income. Anyway. I used to wish I didn't have to work. When I got my wish,it didn't make me Happy! At 72 now I can barely keep up with my yard & house & Caring for Ravan. The sleepless nights are catching up with me !

For 2019 I want to be Happy! :D

You're right...and I love my job! I am so lucky that I can work from home - and when I say work from home - it's basically anywhere I go - we live in Michigan and I remote to work from home there - and we're lucky enough to be able to winter in Florida - so I remote from home there as well....how many people would kill for a gig like this???

My job is very interesting and the time flies by...and now with a new challenge...it's even more interesting...a bit challenging - but isn't everything new challenging? I'll learn...it just takes a little longer - I have time and peace and quiet to sort it all out - I'm looking forward to it...but at the end of a long day I'm just a little tired...and how normal would it sound if I didn't throw in a complaint or two about working? I agree with you 100% JoyBee...I sure wouldn't want to have anything happen to my job...I'd be lost without it. :) So sorry to hear that things didn't work out for you going back after your surgery...that's a real bummer :(.

Monday is the Full Wolf Moon, and there will be a total lunar eclipse in some areas. Just right for a PARTY! Forget about FD and just have a fun evening on Monday!

p.s. As maybe the oldest bean on this board I have a suggestion: keep moving! It is possible to have a life with FD, your job, and whatever else, as long as you are happy and keep moving.

Sue, I thought you went to Florida and were retired?

Nice start for Miss Luci this AM,

I like Ella words of advice. It is very easy to get caught up in this FD dance and feel trapped. It's taken me 3 + years to start to get a bit more comfy with it all. The timely insulin shots are still an issue........ but my worry is less that before.

@Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) and @Bobbie And Bubba - thanks so much for your kind words of wisdom. I too agree - keep moving!! It's how I spend at least an hour of my day - every day - getting in a walk - I try for 4-5 miles - just enough time to get in a walk by the time of the 'next test' :)

Not quite retired yet :) DH is retired and the grass sure looks greener on 'that' side of the fence sometimes...and if I wait another year SS will be a better deal for me...the longer you wait, the more you make, right?

Most days are better than others - it's just lately my job is a bit overwhelming - but I've been there, done that before - and I'm sure I'm muddle thru :) Besides I have Miss Luci here as my constant companion with her antics to keep me amused (well, most of the time it's amusing - at least when she finds shopping bags and gallops around the place full of vim and vinegar) :bighug::bighug:
