Yesterday's Condo

I scared my kitties last night. I cranked up the oven to it's highest setting to make a homemade pizza and the smoke alarm went off. I still have no clue where Gizmo got to but he disappeared. When it came to his claiming the 3rd installment of dinner, he did come out but he was very wary and kept looking around like he was expecting something to drop out of the sky. Poor kitty! And here I thought he was the brave one!!
 
Poor Gizmo. At least he did come back out, though. When our house alarm accidentally went off one day, we had to literally take the bed apart to get Petey out. I wonder how long he would have stayed in there otherwise. :facepalm:

Looks like Miss Gabby is coming down for you this morning. Hope she surfs safely!
 
Happens so often here, the kitties just hang out waiting for whatever nummy stuff is coming out of the oven. The dog? Hiding on the far side of my bed in the most distant corner of the house. I'm sure he'd be under it if he fit.

Guess I should clean the oven one of these days.

She bolted all of about 2 feet then sat there looking at me for having done something she considered rude. (Of course, I was running around opening windows in an attempt to make the noise stop. Nothing interrupted Gabby once she was fed, though.)
