Happy Saturday, everyone! Yesterday: Chyna 1/17

Well, not much to see here, so far. Starting pink (low pink, at least). We did our dosecrease to 4.25u this morning. Chyna ate all her fuds overnight, and this morning so far :-D I woke up before the alarm, did the T/F/S and then ran out to get groceries, and Mcdonalds breakfast ;-)

Ketones last night=negative, it only took 3 hours of waiting this time :roll: She seems to be purring more...and our subqs went smooth last night, so it seems to be on and off which night will be good. You'd think after 3 months of doing this every second day or so we'd be good at it :oops: I did find a small capsule with a piece of Pepcid AC in it, in the hallway. Not sure when that was from as I give it to her wherever she is sitting at the time it's given but "someone" ate around her pill pocket and left that part :evil: Mama bean didn't notice, she's usually so good at them :? I'm trying to remember...I think it was last night in the hallway? Or this morning? I really need some ~O) ~O) :lol:

I'm super tierd @-) and I am looking at a nap soon! I also have house cleaning and ice chipping to do on the sidewalk/driveway today since we're above zero for the next few days, the fun never ends :roll: . I'll be in and out saying hello on condos. Nice to see that yellow! Keep on sliding, Chyna, you know, just like at curling practice. I love to chip ice. I even went around the corner to chip a little canal for water to drain from the sidewalk. :lol: :lol: :lol: I hope you have a nice nap, Rachel. Happy Caturday!

Well, Chyna, at least you are headed in the right direction. How bout coming down a little more? Pretty please?

Rachel, I hope you don't overdo this weekend. You're still recovering and you don't want a relapse, do you? I didn't think so. Try and take it a little easier.

My Minka has to have a couple of different pills every day - she's hyperthyroid and has COPD. I can't tell you how many times I have found a pill somewhere and had no idea which dose it was that she managed to spit out! :lol: Her last thyroid check was perfect, so I guess a missed pill every now and then isn't hurting, but it sure does stress me out when I find one! She's a Siberian, with very long hair, and I've found them in her "bib", too, so we always do a bib and floor check after I think she's swallowed her pill! :lol: :lol:

Hope Chyna comes down a little more and you can relax some. Be careful out there with that ice. Have a great day!

You just seem to be having waaaay too much fun today :-D I hope that nap was more than just wishful thinking on your part. Above zero, isn't that a heat wave up there this time of year? ;-) Chyna, keep taking the elevator down just a little bit more sweetheart.

Hi Liz! Thanks, she is sliding a bit! If you were here, I'd get you to come ice chip with me :lol: I don't mind the thin stuff, but the 2-3" slab of snow/ice on top is hard on the arms :shock: unfortunately, it stayed too cold today to get any done, even though I put salt down and tried. Maybe tomorrow, want to fly up and have some chipping fun? ;-)

Hi Tricia, she listened and came down a teensy bit. Not very generous of her ;-) Don't worry, no relapse, I'm doing plenty of lazy things. So frustrating when you find a pill after...or way after the fact! I usually feel the floor around her to make sure, but this one had every bit of pill pocket gone and was shoved along the side by the wall...darn floors the color of Pepcid! :lol:

Hi Lauren! I did get a nap, thanks. I'd sort of like another one :oops: Yep, it's a heat wave, a week of above zero (well, today it didn't make it there) but it's causing a mess on the roads. Water on top of snow and ice...and mushy snow. Never happy, am I? ;-)

I hope everyones PMPS is a nice color, I'll be watching for you, kittehs!

Keep on sliding down Chyna, work that juice. The yellow looks nice, just wish she'd go down a little bit more.

Chipping ice? :shock: I had to go in the garden and lift mulch off the daffodils that are starting to pop up. A little easier on the arms I think. ;-)

Somebody needs to tell our daffs that it isn't Spring here yet.

Arg... I have given up on tricking them into eating pills. We do kitty burrito for kitties who are not very good patients. Thankfully most of them are pretty good citizens and take their medicine like good babies. Hope you got your nap!

Thanks for the invite, but I've got plenty of ice of our own to chip! We usually just leave it and wait for some snow to cover it up. We wear our "town" spikes on our driveway :lol:

-Wendy, I think I would rather lift mulch :lol: I wish she'd go down too...seems like we never do...
-Tina, I wish it was spring:) I did get a nap. Chyna is usually so good about pill pockets, because she gets treats after, but once in a while she misses the important part, like the pill :o
-Ella, thanks for the good wishes. I have done that a few times with the snow, and now I have a layer of ice/snow/ice ;-) I figured I'd take advantage of the nice weather and chip :-D
-Amy, thanks, it didn't get warm enough for the chipping to work; maybe tomorrow! It was just a quick nap...now it's time for a longer one @-) Chyna says Dosecrease, smosecrease, apparently :roll: :lol:
