Good morning.

Butch bounced last night after yesterday cycle with green. He slid into the yellow this morning at the +1 from an AMPS pink. Not sure, where he will go today. I need to run out to buy some food for him. They are saying we will get snow tomorrow, so I don't want to put it off but first I need to make sure he's steady.

Butch seems to be back to urinating normal. I am not sure to what was going on yesterday. I'll still monitor him and hope to get a urine sample to bring to the vet office.

Just curious, how many trips to the box did he have yesterday? Sometimes Pookey will do smaller volume, but that’s the difference between 2 and 3 trips a day for him these days.

That’s a nice little drop already to +1, hope Butch behaves himself. Steady as you go, Butch, no need to be in such a hurry

Within an hour he made about 4 to 5 trips with very little urine. I use clump litter, and it was like pebble clumps. Whereas, when Butch usually urinates it's much more like a puddle of urine.

I was thinking it could be a UTI. Today, he went back to urinating normal Not sure, what that was all about.
Glad to say I ran my errands. It was perfect timing; he dropped into the greens after I reached home.
I wasn't able to get Butch's urine sample. I'll have to try during the week. My vet office closes early on Saturdays.
Yes, not so great weather tomorrow. Stay safe too with the snow. I plan on staying home and cuddling with Butch

Hi Madeline, I am glad he is urinating normal again. Anyhow, good you drop some urine at the vet. With our diabetics, one can never know. Funny he waited for you to go away to pee. Binie is the same, the whole day I watch her and if I am on the phone or do something else, she uses the moment to pee. But he did a good job waiting for his drop for you to come home!
