Just out of curiosity....do you use a pen or vial and when was the last time you changed it? It might be on your SS but I couldn't find it.
Here is my suspicion FWIW. There may be other theories ...I'm certain there are.
Zeke is on his lowest dose. It's getting him good nadirs but it might not be enough to keep him from bouncing. However, I would be concerned that if you took him up any at all to smooth the bouncing, you'd be afraid to leave him. And you'd have to really feed the curve more than you should. He likes to dive and I see "some" cats (Gracie included) that seem to bounce worse from the dives than from the lower numbers (to a point).
And keep in mind there are so many variables that can affect a cycle. Rate of absorption which we know can vary a great deal from shot to shot. How accurate was the dose? Was it the same as you gave yesterday? Was the food fed different (doesn't really look like it to me from yesterday and today a.m. cycles), etc....you get my drift. Sometimes they just throw one wonky number in there. Sometimes that wonky number is a high before a break. And Zeke was just surfing today at +5.25 and maybe decided to come down a little more.
So instead of really stressing about one number, I try to wear my patience pants (really difficult for me) and see what the trend is
if the nadirs are where I want them. If the latter exists, I just try to ignore the bounces and let her flatten (you will note that is what I've been trying to do with this last increase).
I'd see what he does tonight and where his AMPS is tomorrow. I know it's hard. No one likes pink especially once you are very addicted to green. On the 7%....I'd try to be consistent in whatever you choose. Sometimes a food won't bump them up but it will help with the dive.
Anyway....those are just my thoughts.
I am sorry I missed your birthday yesterday!! I hope it was spectacular and you got to get out for a nice evening!
Happy Belated Birthday, Laura!!!
