WCR: All Ps in place. Worried about her allergies...she's been itching/rubbing her eye all morning. Rubbed hair off from around the eye. I had to go practice for a duet I'm singing tomorrow and then ran some errands. When I got home, she chatted with me and followed me around and sniffed and sniffed and sniffed everything. She's been sniffing everything since I got home...very strange. Any suggestions about her eye? warm compress?

Poor Shasta.....first her toe, now her eye. I wish I had ideas....I've never had a persistent itchy eye issue with my herd, though. Were you petting other kitties that Shasta can now smell on you? I love how sensitive we L&LL beans are about all these little nuances from our kitties...we know how to make ourselves a little crazy sometimes, don't we? I hope her eye stops itching and her toe is better and that she realizes she doesn't need to resniff everything therefore making MamaBean wonder what's up...

If she were human I'd be rinsing the eye but I am not at all sure about doing that to a cat! Hope someone has some ideas

I'm not sure about her eye either. Maybe try the warm compress and see if it helps. I hope it gets better soon.

I'd go with the warm compress or a kitty sauna....
hey.... you could just lock her in while you take a hot steamy shower..... and fill the tub and relax.... maybe she'll sit on the side and be company.
