Yesterday

Good Morning, Everyone,

There's the bounce after yesterday's all-green day. Rusty is chillaxin in his little bed next to the radiator and will soon have his breakfast warmed up on top of the radiator. This is our new set-up!
Very cold again this morning: -14 degrees, but the sun is out.

Beans are going to see the Met in HD this afternoon at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. Lehar's "The Merry Widow". Should be fun. It's one of our favorite operettas. Renee Fleming will be perfect in the role of Hanna.

Off to serve breakfast to the Lord of the Manor!

Ooo, Lake Placid! It's so pretty there. Don and I are originally from near Utica.

So, Rusty decided to drop below 50, but recovered while we were at the opera. He had food and treats in his automat. He listened to the Met radio broadcast while we were watching the opera on HD. I hope he liked it! The production, the singing, the dancing (incredible) were all fantastic. What a fun afternoon! Basically the operetta (by Lehar) is one big party from beginning to end. The theater in Lake Placid provided a free champagne reception during the intermission.

Wow! That was a short-lived bounce! It looks like Rusty was in monitoring the deep end of the lagoon today. How cool on the opera, and lucky Rusty to get to enjoy it from home! Our kitties listen to Minnesota Public Radio during the day when we're not home.

Ella, the Nulo foods are available at Petsmart. I talked to the rep and he said there was no difference between the "Medal" foods and the "Freestyle". They just relabel it for Petsmart.
