Good morning from the Lake Placid Public Library, where I am spending the day while waiting for major repairs on my car. It's a lovely winter day so far, but the ice/snowstorm with freezing rain is supposed to start late this afternoon. Tomorrow sounds awful, so I don't think I'll be hiking/skiing/snowshoeing with friends if the leader decides to go. The trip is a long way from here, near Cranberry Lake in the northwest Adirondacks. It was supposed to have been a ski trip, but the recent rains and thaw more or less put an end to that.
Rusty is good. He had a good night and zoomed around this morning, but then was disappointed that I had to leave. And Edward went to yoga class this morning, so the Haushaltmeister will have to fend for himself. He has strict instructions to eat his fuds.

Now I'm going to work on my lecture for a while. Bbl

Vanessa says she is sending extra, as she is trying a few new beverages in honor of the new catio coming next week. I hear that Lola is planning one big christening party. :eek::rolleyes::cat:
Rusty, dude! HELP!!!! We need fuds, lots of good fuds, for my catio party next week. You up for it? My bean says they start next week, and we just have to celebrate! We can use Mannie's treehouse as party central. WOO HOO! I am SO EXCITED! Between Mannie's treehouse and my, well Bug and Vanessa's too, catio we are living the dream here in the PNW. Good luck with your car repairs. Bummer that the weather has kept you indoors. Better safe than sorry huh. Sounds like a good idea to maybe skip your grand adventure tomorrow. Weather has been a deterrent more often than not here too. I am so looking forward to warmer temps, and spring.

Good luck with your lecture. I have read your posts about preparing one, but am clueless on what it is on, and for. I'd love to hear... :) Hope it goes well.

Good luck on the car repairs and making progress on the lecture. So, so glad we very seldom get icy rain. I am thrilled to see the regular kind today.

Always love to hear a good zoomies story and it's especially wonderful to hear one involving Rusty!! I guess those B-12 shots have really added some pep to his step!!

Hope your ice storm isn't any worse than ours was!!

We're still slidin' from the last rainstorm!

Got home just in time for Rusty's PMPS. The icy rain had just begun when my car was ready.

We are very sad tonight to hear Les' (@Gussie's mom) news about Gussie. Sending much love and prayers for the days ahead.

And we just learned that Willie @Christie & Willie (GA) has arrived at the Bridge. Fly free, Willie!
