Yesterday's Post

She's cruising. But still seems to be off behaviorally - laid in the litterbox for several minutes this morning after breakfast/meds. She was stumbling last night too. Not sure what's going on since her levels look pretty good. Did a Keto and it was negative so that's good. This morning was only a half dose and I find those really difficult to measure so it might have been closer to 0.25.

Happy Friday y'all. :cat:

Her libre 3 sensor gave us an error today which was annoying. Restarted the phone and waited a bit and it came back online. It has 9 days left so I'm really hoping this was a one-off event.

Make sure if you’re having it applied at the vets office, they do not use glue. The glue can kill the sensor.

If you get a 10 minute error message, it usually means the glucose is either rising or falling quickly, and the sensor needs time to recalibrate.

Oh good to know. We're planning on doing the next one at home to save her the stress of being drugged up and going to the vet for it. I think mine said she uses a four dots on the compass point edges to help it stay but I didn't know better then. Just wanted it on to be able to monitor her.

She was falling very rapidly, from 344 to 110 in about an hour. Her graphs always look insane though. Wish I could put a picture in but I can't figure that out from my phone since it wants an image URL? And when I click upload a file it says I don't have permission.

To attach a picture just copy and paste it in the text box. (Upload feature doesn’t work)

It sounds like the glucose was rapidly dropping. It overwhelms the sensor.
Have you checked out the Facebook group for instructions about installing the sensor yourself? I highly recommend doing that!

I'm on a phone and it won't paste from my clipboard.

I joined the Facebook group but I was overwhelmed at the time and didn't really look at everything. I'll check it out.

Just take your time and go through the information. It will help you know what to have and use to install. I know it’s a lot, but it is really helpful. :bighug:
