Good day everyone!

I am late to posting today but wanted to stop in and thank you all for helping me get through yesterday's pee challenge. We are doing well since i am just accepting the pee thing for now. Once I can get her all checked out, we will see if anything needs to be done. I can and will live with it and try to be creative about when I let her in the bed. Last night I closed the door but I am not going to do that forever. I have to have my cleaning gals wash the bedding and since I only have two mattress covers, I have to wait until one of them gets washed before allowing Morgaine back in there. Must protect the mattress! :smile:

Her AMPS was elevated and I knew it would be based on her numbers last cycle. Since she won't be getting any insulin for tomorrow's AM cycle, i was hoping to have a good day with lower numbers but 138 @+3 is very acceptable. Morgaine and i will be fighting high numbers together since I have to take a triple dose of prednisone for my procedure tomorrow. i am allergic to the contrast dye they will be using so my BGs are going to hit the roof. I will also be borrowing some Lantus from Morgaine. It is nice to be able to share with my girl, NOT! :lol:

I won't be around until after the procedure but I will try to check in here when I get home tomorrow evening, if I can. Otherwise, I will be in touch on Thursday!

And Morgaine, stand by your mamabean tomorrow and be a help to her when she gets home. The KTSS may be making a call in the evening.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes.

I am set to go in early AM and will be setting up Morgaine's feeder for her normal mealtimes through +3. My friend will come by and feed her and check on her after that and then I should be home by 6 PM or so. I won't worry too much about Morgaine, only that her BG will be elevated since I won't starve the girl. Her feedings are too important to her so she will get all meals. I am going to be interested to see how her body responds to this. Her shed will probably kick in and that isn't a bad thing at all. I am looking at this as a learning experience.
