I'm thinking he's showing this high number because of stress. nailbite_smile I had them both sleeping in my room last night. Needless to say, neither they nor I got much sleep. Surprisingly, there's been no major incidents yet. I'm taking the little one to the vet today, so hopefully everything checks out okay and he has nothing contagious that I'll also need to treat Michelangelo for.

Sending good vetty vines for Henry. Cats sure do take their time in getting to know one another, don't they? Bring those numbers down, there, Mikey!

Re: 1/17 Michelangelo AMPS 377, +5/274

Michelangelo had such a tentatively good +4 (235) that I was hoping it would be a sign that he'd get some more blues in today, even with the high AMPS. His +5 is a little too high for me to hope for greens any more, but I'm thinking it might be artificially inflated because I fed him at his +4.

I still haven't settled on a name yet, but I'm leaning toward Henry V. Mikey is still being a little punk to him, which I was expecting and it will probably take a few more days for Mikey to warm up to him. It doesn't bother the little guy too badly because he's just the hugest sweetheart and still keeps trying to engage Michelangelo into some play even when he gets growled, hissed, or swiped at. When he was at the vet, he was giving the Vet Tech kisses!

The vet visit went mostly well. Mr. Henry T is 4.9 pounds at 4 months old! Michelangelo didn't hit that weight till he was almost 7 months old! They only had adjuvant vaccines, so I had to compromise on that. He tested negative for FIP and FIV and I have to bring back a stool sample later to test for parasites and/or worms. Since I wasn't able to keep Mikey and Mr. T separated, if he has any of them, I'll also have to treat Michelangelo.
