Wah! I thought I was reading the meter upside down or something, but, no, it really said 337 this morning. Poor Max. He hasn't worn pink since going back on insulin. I think I "shot myself in the foot" the other day by making two changes on the same day, trying a dose increase and switching syringe brand, cause, now, I can't figure out what caused what. Doh!

Re: 1/17 Max AMPS 337

 @ Mel! That is too cute! :-D

Hang in there and don't change anything, keep the same dose and syringes for a few days and see what happens. Just MHO, but that's what I'd do if it was me.

I love that pic Mel! Thank goodness Maxie (which really is one of his nicknames) took off the tutu for his PMPS. He was having some tummy symptoms tonight, so I gave him a little Miralax. We'll see what the morning #'s brings. I need patient pants for sure! I went back to the old syringes. Just wanted to eliminate one of the variables, so I could get a better feel for what's happening (new syringes or new dose wonkiness). I really do need some more patience. I'll hold this change for more time.

Members have noted that syringes may be inconsistent in marking doses.

If that is a concern, you might pick up some calipers to identify if that is happening and to help standardize the dose.
