Yesterday: cat on a mission! WOOT! and what a ride! Mannie seems to have been on a slide from AMPS all the way to nadir in the PM cycle. What a great night for him! This is one of the few where I had to go above the normal LC fuds for him. It has been quite a while since that has happened. The 40's were fed with a 14% MC food, that slowed things enough, kept him out of the 30's, allowed for a green surf. I had hoped to keep him above 60, but it seems Mannie had other ideas. I am, after all, only along for the ride. Well done Mannie - you bean is proud of you! cat_pet_icon Now be a good boy and try not to "B" too bad.... :-D Not oo bad of an amps. Now let's see what he decides to do with that.

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D HOORAY!! No singed cat fur yesterday! :lol: :cool: :cool: It was a major snoozzzzzzzzzzzzzz day for Mannie yesterday - he went from the nanners to his bed and back to the nanners. We had one big nanner pile, and he had somehow managed to sleep on top of the pile. :shock: That has to be like way lumpy, way uncomfortable, and way too Mannie.... The rainbow were the pillows. :lol: :lol: I am not to surprised at the sleep mode yesterday - we still have snow, it is still below freezing, and the winds have picked up. BRRRRRRR! He made one trip out onto the deck. That lasted maybe 5 minutes. I cracks me up when he goes out in snow - he always comes back in with snow caked to the longgggggggg fur on his belly. I told him to be careful - such a fur-do mess will no doubt set off the "bad fur day" alarm at Binks's place... summoning the Binkster for a fur-re-do. :shock: :lol: We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie, no kneads today though! Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, AND!: Elsa is back to raiding his auto feeder, again! :o hmmmmmmm :lol: I have been ready - alternative in one hand for her. Seems to be working... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! We are still under a winter storm watch - supposedly there is nasty one coming in, with the potential for 6" of snow on Tuesday, another 6" on Wednesday. OH CARP! Seattle is so ill-prepared for snow of this "magnitude". Ought to make for an interesting day. I know this bean is staying put. A walk in the woods to the shore will do me just fine. I will leave the freeways to the idiots... :lol: :lol:

EVERYBODY!!!!! Major snowfall coming!!! Snow forts to be had - and skiing - and snowboarding - and tobogganing - and stuff! I made a whole batch of cimmamum cookie dough, and well, the bean got us some niptinis stuff and more hot toddy stuff cuz it seems like we drank it all yesterday. :shock: :roll: You guys wanna play in the snow some more? or maybe we should find a warm beach.... my paw toes are kinda cold... Let me know! I am ready for anything! ~~ Mannie

Snow can be so much fun, as long as you don't have to drive in it. Stay safe.

Hi Michelle, wow what an exciting night for Mannie and sleepless for you, but good excuse to have more than one peppermint white mochas. I still can't wean myself from the straight coffee. I even like straight Espresso with a dab of foam, just the hard stuff for this Bean! :lol: Glad to hear no singed fur :lol: ! Wow, that is unusual for you guys to have that much snow. A walk by the shore sounds neat. Have a wonderful day and thanks for your help on resizing pics.

Mannie, it's only 45 degrees here, so too cold for the beach here, but sledding and snow in the fun sounds good to me. as long as we can have niptunis and hot toddys, count me in today. I'll sneak in some of my Bean's dark chocolate raspberry sticks. See ya soon

Wow on yesterday! Yay! Thank goodness on the candle. Binks is very creative, but not sure if it is Mannie's style. :lol: :lol: :lol: Loved the condo from yesterday.

Oh wow on the snow. I wish we could get some. Hope you stay home where it is safe and warm. I saw the pics of the roads on FB that you posted and it looks like a big ice skating rink.

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - yep, alts night was a good one - he kept me busy, that is for sure. Sure was a great cycle! Too fun on just the hard stuff ~O) for you. I should just stick with that stuff - would save me a ton of money. :lol: :lol: and yes on the snow - it is unusual for us, and to have it last this long. We are looking at another couple of days before things return to our rains. I hope so on the walk - looks like it will be a good day for that. Hi Ann, and Miss Tess - It was a good night in LL - alot of kitties were having really good cycles. YAY! Did OK in the sleep department - lost maybe an hour overall, not too bad. AndCOOL! yes - hoping for a repeat... dunno though...

Morning Melissa - oh yes on that darn candle - silly boy I can laugh now, but it sure wasn't too funny that night. :lol: Unreal on our snow - it is unusual for us to get it for such a long time. It may snow one day, but is gone within 12 hours... this one is building up to a week now. :shock: And yup on those pjotos - those were the moutnian passes - they always get nailed with alot of it... so pretty there. and yes on the ice skating rink: that would be our lowlands. scary.... LOVE that photo! Tell Mr T to drive safely. :-D

Hi Tracy - thanks! a very good night for him. and so agreed on the snow stuff.... no roads for me - I'll leave those to the ones that think they have to be on them. :lol: :lol: Rather slushy at the moment. perhaps that is good, at least we don't have yesterday's ice...

Hi Michelle, Guess who's getting your rain?? Yep! It started as snow, turned to sleet, freezing rain, and now rain--all on top of the snow from the other day. And tonight it's supposed to go down to 5 degrees, so we'll have ice. Fingers and paws crossed that we don't lose power! Your snowstorm sounds huge for your area. Good luck dealing with all the snow-challenged drivers on the roads. You are right: it's best not to go out in a car!!

That was quite a night for you guys last night! Fantastic numbers. I hope Mannie doesn't bounce too high, and it looks like he's keeping it within bounds--so far, at least.

Getting a late start on visiting condos today; got caught up in the meter/strips quest!!

Hi Ella - oh no! You got our rain - sorry! It sounds like it will be one big mess - all that snow and then rain on top: perfect recipe for ice, lots of ice. I hope you guys will do OK. I'd worry about all that ice on the power lines. Good luck - I will be thinking of you. and yes on our area - it is a long and "big " one for us - on day 4 now, with two more predicted. The bigger accumulation is due tonight. They say a foot, but it really depends on where you live. Some areas will get very little. -- and ye son last night - :shock: :-D :-D and he really hasn't bounced to high. The pmps was good, considering, now if he can just hold onto that. He could very well take off for the stratosphere tonight too. :roll:

Rusty - dude! I am SO GLAD you brought the snow shovel - no way could we have built a good fort without it. pssssttttt... I hid some of the cimmamum cupcakes so that Tobey doesn't eat them all. We gots to get him into sumthin' else, ya know? OK! Toddy time! Fresh batch is ready~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, I hope Mannie stays steady there and no higher! Wow, even more snow tonight. That has to make for terrible conditions driving, especially if they're not used to snow removal and equipment. Did you get a shore walk in today or stay inside with the fireplace?

272 @ +2. well, this is kinda nice in a way: after PMPS and making Mannie's entry I returned to the kitchen to find him with his face buried in his sisters bowl - he had eaten all of it. It's 8%, so... higher than what he would have had, not to mention the quantity. :lol: :lol: I was mildly surprised to have a slight drop at +2. which means... 1: that food doesn't affect him as much as I think it would, or 2: it does and is covering up a nice fat drop. hmmmmm... I vote for option number 1. :razz: :razz:

Hi Ann - our posts must have crossed each other... Me too on the steady! and yes... more sow tonight, or so they say. We are supposed to get a foot or more, so this one is a "biggie" - it will be interesting to see what happens. The past few days haven't been too bad on the traffic, but this much snow will really mess things up - especially when the snows arrive so early in the morning.... -- yes on the walk!! I did two actually. One in the morning - a short one to the coffee shop, and then after I went to the shore. Very pretty out there! :cool: :cool:

Hi Amy - Thanks - it was a good night - along one, but very nice. I was so glad to see a "non-pink" bounce today. what a relief! and thanks on the weather.... i love snow, i really do - but so dislike the havoc it causes with getting around... we are just not used to it all.
