To keep a long story short I just wanted to say thank you to all the help that we got from this forum (and the site as a whole). Izzy stopped eating shortly after our last dosing question and wasn't acting like himself at all. We took him to the vet on Wednesday 1/10 and unfortunately his large belly wasn't just food not going all the way through.
The vet did a draw on his stomach and found it was filled with blood which confirmed that he had cancer.
Unfortunately it was downhill from there and we had to put him down on Thursday 1/11.
I will post in the supply closet later today when I have the specifics but we have an unopened vial of Lantus (from Mark's Marine Pharmacy ordered around the 18th of December), 150 needles and about 25 alpha track testing strips. I'd like to sell these to help pay back some of the cost of the vet bills we have accumulated.
Again, thanks for everyone's help in this, we were hoping for the best but with all the jumping around and difficulty keeping him healthy a little part of us always knew our time would be limited. We appreciate all the support everyone has given us. <3
