O okay...I didn't know it restarts--thanks! I just gave him his shot.Dyana said:It looks like Gobbles is bouncing from the green yesterday morning. I would hold the same dose.
The cycle counting starts over again with a skipped shot. So, lets see if we can get 6 cycles more on your current dose.
Is there a way I can (copy & paste question) delete my post? I didn't give a thought that it was pushing posts, but that makes sense. I would like to delete all the posts (except Gobbles' BG post) I've made today...
About how long should I wait to test again?Ann & Tess said:Give it a little more time between tests, the food needs to get digested and into the blood stream.
15 minutes later, I tested again (he did eat, as he was practically climbing my leg) with 20 meters and got 48/49. He ate a little more of the 20% (would of ate more but I put it up) and about 1/2 T. karo and 3 temptations treats and 1/4 c. chicken juice. I hope I didn't overdo it.
ECID? OMG--when you read HOW MUCH food/high carbs I gave him, you are gonna flip--newbie low BG, I guess...My guess is he'll spike sky high due to ALL the food I gave him? His number came up. I have to run to the bakery & candy store, but am holding off for a little while yet, and will test before I leave--will only be gone no more than 45 minutes. ECID means ?Wendy&Tiggy said:1 drop of syrup and some low carb food brings them up for me, any more than that and they go way high. Again ECID. I test every 20 minutes after a low like that until I see the numbers go up, and then every half hour for a xouple of hours just in case the syrup wears off and they start to drop again...
I guess I'll know soon if I over did it with the carbs...newbie mistake (well I was so freaked out I jammed as many carbs into him as possible)..I printed out the Hypo sticky and was trying to follow it (just a suggestion: maybe on that sticky, when it refers to "mild, moderate, several" maybe some numbers; if they're on there, I totally didn't see them). I'm sure Gobbles "schooled me" today! THANK YOU for those pants...lol...I'm going to have to buy a pair like them at the mall and keep them handy!Carl & Bob said:No way to know for sure if you "overdid it". If it's too much, next time, maybe a little less. This is one of the "know YOUR kitty" things that you'll learn from Gobbles.
Oh, and here.... I let Jenny (and Emmy) use these yesterday, but today it's your turn, and I'm sure Jenny won't mind sharing
Nice green today for Gobbles!TheBowHuntress said:..I printed out the Hypo sticky and was trying to follow it (just a suggestion: maybe on that sticky, when it refers to "mild, moderate, several" maybe some numbers; if they're on there, I totally didn't see them).
