Good morning World! Welcome to our home! Yesterday's Forgetful MamaBean

Oh how NICE to see yellow numbers still happening! I didn't forget shot this morning! For the first time in days, I actually got to sleep thru the night (no coughing droolers) so failed to wake up and test overnight. Doc is still sort of sleepy and subdued today but I'm attributing that to lower average numbers than he's had in months. 4 P's in place, wait, guess it's all 5 as he did 'play' for a few minutes altho' it was a bit of 'irritated' play with Bebo. He's started something else the last couple of days - when I put him down his back, his skin ripples and he turns to say 'Quit'. If I do it again, he warns me he's going to bite....he's declawed so doesn't slap, he bites instead - already did this when we adopted him. I started a thread HERE in health asking about the rippling. I can't tell if it's irritating or hurting. I quit petting when he gives me the warning. Could this be associated with his declining kidney/liver function? I read info on hyperethensia (or however it's spelled) but only thing I could see there was 'stress'. We've had the 2 sick droolers PLUS his numbers have been lower....

Penny/Sasha Droolers - even Sasha is coughing less and less. Neither of them coughed enough to need 'midnight meds' last night. Penny hasn't coughed in about 24 hours so we're saying she's over it, since Sasha caught it about 3 days later than penny, we'll wait for her 'all clear' for a bit longer.

All other fuzzy feetz are well. Doc and Snowshoe have gone btb, BeboKitty is watching 'Squirrel TV' out the front window. Lily, Pepper and MooKitties are stretched out sleeping in the sunbeams, Monkey is in a mean mood so is in crate trying to slap their tails. 'Stache is running around the sunroom like a little 'kit-idiot'. SpikeKitty is scoping on turtle doves in the yard. Droolers Ginny/Darla are outside running, Sassy is sleeping in the rocker beside me, Penny and Sasha are sleeping in their quarantine pen. Junior, Johnny and Bug droolers are curled up in a pile sleeping altho' it's about time they go outside to run for a bit. Big droolers - Blue, Chloe and Star - are in their kennels listening to (and barking at) the squirrels running across the metal roof. Whew - is that all of them?

It's grooming day so I'll have my clippers going for hours today.

Thoughts and prayers continue for Laura/Skinky to continue to eat and improve. I know there are others but my brain is full this morning...or maybe it's empty this morning... :)

BIG HUGS to all that visit today!

Whew, Lyresa! I knew you had your hands full there, but that's the first time I've seen you list them all - what a full house you have (I know, it's full of love, too! :)).

Glad to hear the good report on the sick droolers. Sending healing vines for them.

Yay for all that yellow - I think Doc is liking that sunny color. Don't worry, he'll get used to it.

Interesting on the "ripple". Minka does that sometimes when I put the needle in for her sub-qs. She doesn't react otherwise, so I don't think it hurts, but I have been wondering why it happens. I will have to follow your thread and see what feedback you get.

Hope grooming day goes smoothly and you find time to relax a little! Prayers and vines for your DF and your DH (hope he's over his latest episode).
