Most of yesterday’s tests came in yellow, with a rise to pink toward the end of the AM cycle. She’s pink again this morning. Last night we increased to 13.25 units.

Weezer spent yesterday on her heating pad. She did engage in a bit of play with her foil ball, but I did most of the playing. She was on her pad and I rolled the ball her way. If it came within reach she batted it back to me. She’s very good at that. But if it was out of reach, it was out-of-bounds and I had to retrieve it. It looks like the beginning of another quiet day, she’s on her pad again.

Those yellows are looking nicer and nicer. How is she doing? Wishing for more bright yellows, and beautiful blues for you both in the very near future. You're doing great, Linda. :) :YMHUG:

Sounds like a lazy day for Weezer, can't even bother to go play with her ball :lol: Oh well, I have those days too.
Hope we see some nicer numbers today.

Hi Linda, I bet that heating pad sure feels good to Weezer. Good luck with the new dose, and I hope she comes down thru the day. Scritchies to Weezer.

It sounds like I'm not the only one who has been trained to play "fetch." I hope Weezer decides yellow and blue are the preferred colors.

Have you thought about increasing by 0.5u? If you think about the proportion of an increase (i.e., increasing by 0.25u when a cat is on a dose of 1.0u vs. increasing by 0.25u at a dose of 13.0u), you may need to be more aggressive to address the insulin resistance.

hi guys .. yeah, I bet that heating pad did feel nice for weezer .. I bet my girls would love one! Ok weezer, you are a low enough pink that you can definitely come down to yellow soon ok? Have a great day guys!

I love that Weezer has her own heating pad! I have a friend who brings hers with her when she visits and Ollie is always stealing her seat when she gets up for something. Maybe I should get him one.

What a nice morning cycle for Weezer yesterday...she may be back in the pinks today, but I think that yesterday shows some real progress. You go, girl!

LOL on the fetching. Yeah, cats are great at training their beans, that's for sure!

Oh they have us so trained...KT plays ball and rarely misses hitting it but it doesn't always come back to me. His latest favorite is to lay in his box and slap it back with one foot. If he can't reach it from his box, he just gives me 'the look'... :-D

Good luck with the dosecrease and I really like Sienne's idea of increasing by .5u the next time she needs one. You monitor her closely....maybe it will be the thing that gets her to her fitting dose.

Oh come on Weezer, the is so close to the color you bean wants to see! just a little further.

Tess will want to plat, but if I get the feather our for her to chase, she lays down and bats at it. Just beyond ars reach of course, so the bean will get some stretching exercise in as well. :roll:
 
When Rusty plays, he plays: he's in the game and all over the place. The rest of the time he chillaxes on his various beds, pillows, perches! Ah the life of a cat!

Hi Linda & Weezer. Nice flat cycle today. Now, if you can just bring it down a notch to yellow, Weezer!
