yesterday she trended higher also - amps 264 at +3 290 and then + 12pmps 244

today her amps 281 and +1 288 will check more often today might give ,5 more if she continues like this.
she is also avoiding her laxative im mixing it in very well in her whole meal now she was eating around it - too darn smart for me
 
You're on Lantus right? You have to remember that the numbers will keep going up until the Lantus kicks in, the onset is usually 2-4 hours after the shot, then they start to come down to their nadir, then back up until pmps. They'll almost always be higher at +1-+2-+3 until onset, then it reverses. The insulin doesn't take effect the minute you give the shot, it takes hours before it does. Some cats longer than others. Hang in there.
 
You also only want to increase by .25u increments at a time, not .5u. So if you do need to increase, only do so by .25u.
 
Remember she probably won't reflex the increase in her numbers for a couple days as her shed has to adjusts. So don't get discouraged. :-D
