1/16, Merme, AMPS 460, first ketone test: negative

Morning everyone!! today I managed to test Merme for Ketones and the strip didn't change color at all!! this is a good sign right? but what does it mean?

although the blood test came yesterday with high levels on his pancreatic lipase 6.1 ng/ml which is sign of a pancreatitis but vet told me his pancreas looks overall healthy on the ultrasound so she only gave me
anti-inflammatory for 7 days and change diet for diabetic kind, he doesn't have any pancreatitis symptom tho, just hungry, even his thirst stoped as soon I started with insulin 1/14

he has been on high numbers since the relapse, I know is a long journey to stabilize his levels but we are on good track?

Which anti-inflammatory product are you giving? What does the vet mean by "change diet for diabetic kind"? What food are they suggesting? All of the ones from the vet aren't anything special for diabetes.

At this point in time, you just have to wait for the initial depot to build, which is 5-7 days.

Sorry you are back. Have you continued to feed a low carb diet? If so you should not need to change his food. No ketones is great news!
