Yesterday was a very close repeat of the day before... I had hopes with the +5 that he was headed down to a nice blue surf. Alas... that was not to be. King BananieMannie wanted to check out the stratosphere, and so he did. So much for the new pattern of one good day with blues and greens followed by one bad day of yellows and pinks. We had day two yesterday. :roll: So we hope for better things today. Right Mannie? We have a sunny yellow start, looking for those blues. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D last night my house smelled of burnt cat fur. :o :shock: :? Candles and kitty fur do not mix. I had one burning all day on the table, no problem... that is until Mannie decides, while waiting for his fuds, that he needs to check things out and stands right next to the damn thing. ** POOF** singed car fur. sheshhhh... what in the world. There is nothing worse than the smell of singed cat fur. Of course I'm having a fit and he's sitting there with that "Get over it, I'm fine, now just serve the fuds NOW "look. :shock: :roll: Still no kitty choir in the morning... though something is waking me up the same time that BJ used too, now that's weird, and no... it's not the alarm. :shock: :lol: Whack-a-thons have not happened either, despite my efforts with whack-a-thon school. They both sit there with that "you want us to do what?" look. :lol: :lol: :lol: ah well... time to let them be who they are. Works for me. We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie, no kneads today though! Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, AND!: Elsa is back to raiding his auto feeder, again! :o hmmmmmmm :lol: I have been ready - alternative in one hand for her. Seems to be working... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! Not too sure what will go on here today. We are still dealing with our "snow event" - maybe two more days of predicted snow fall and freezing tempos at night. so.... we avoid all the road crazies, and walk where I need to go. Sure is gorgeous out there.... :razz:

And completely OT: below is a photo I took yesterday while out on a walk during our "snow event". I just liked the photo... nothing special, just some berries. It just looked so pretty....

So Mannie, you owe us two blue green days now. Then maybe then we can renegotiate, say a blue green day followed by a blue day with maybe a peek to see what’s going on up on the yellow floor. That would work for a while, then we can renegotiate again. And stay away from those candles!! :o

:lol: Michelle, I don't mean to laugh, but the way you describe Mannie's reaction is hilarious. This same thing happened to my GA kitty, only it was a teeny part of his whiskers. I don't think I lit any more candles. He was a world class jumper. :lol: Well, that's closer to blue there with the AMPS, so hope Mannie boy comes down. I guess kitties are just not into the whack-a-thon school, huh! Wow, that's too bad with the weather. That is a really cool pic with the snow and berries. Have a nice day and hope you can get some walking in, weather permitting.

Mannie, it's raining here today, so sledding and some hot toddies sounds fun. I'll be at the curb, Maggie

Kitties and candles do not mix! Tarragon didn't have whiskers on one side for about 3 months after he decided to investigate. :lol: Good news is he hasn't done it since. Now Mannie, stay back from the candle!

Snow event! Ooooo I want one of those. It is 73 here today, which is about 40 degrees above normal. I bet it is beautiful. Have a great day Michelle!

Michelle, that is a lovely pic of the berries in the snow. I'm glad you're getting out to enjoy your "snow event". Where will you walk today? I hope that Mannie's cycle today will develop into one of the "good" ones! And it's neat that BJ is seeing to it that you get up on time. Really wonderful how seriously she took her duties in the household while she was living, and now, at the Bridge, is continuing to make sure things are running smoothly.

Mannie, what happened? Those recent patterns were so nice. Time to get back on schedule.

Since Mannie didn't care I guess we can laugh at the candle event. Actuall, I did that once on my own hair. I didn't think I was that close to the stove, but it was a particularly frizzy hair day. :roll:

Hi Ella - thanks on the pic. There was this huge bush full of these bright red berries - it was so pretty in all that snow. Not too sure where I will go today - maybe up to the coffee shop. :-D Once things thaw out a little up there. The roads were wet by afternoon yesterday, and then they froze overnight, so one huge skating rink today... fun! :roll: and thanks on BJ - it's nice to know she's still with us. Thanks too on Mannie - I hope he comes down.

95 @ +2. I so did not expect that... GO MANNIE!! I fed an 8% - only because it is so early in the cycle, and the drop was a hefty one...

Ho Ella - yes, the roads are slowly improving, the neighbors aren't, but that is the norm here. took an nice walk to day - still looking good here.
