Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) I am so sorry for not updating yesterday  it was a hectic day something attacked my outside rescues in the night and I overslept my one aby kitten I have for sale was getting his neuter so I had to really rush off and then got home and proceeded to check on DL but then try to find the oldest of my outside kids I have 3 rescues and 1 Mama Kitty we have no idea how old she is but she was hurt and of course this is a cat that ever since being caught preg many many years ago she has to be at least 13 she keeps her distance she was limping and I had seen blood... sigh hand to give up then on trying to get her  anyway back to vet to get my kitten. To make a long story shorter I was finally able to get my hands on her late last night its mighty hard to examine a cat for injuries when they are being scruffed pretty sure she has a bite or something by the tail area got a injection of penn in her and she was at least at my door this morning as usual so hoping she will heal without getting a abcess ... I hate having outside cats :? anyway on to my Do Lou man   we are still having diarrhea and appy issues but he is better then he was on Monday we do have some appy eating a bit of dry and baby food which I think its all the baby food that is not helping the stools I talked to the vet last night and I am giving him a b12 shot today and a dose of flagyl to try and get his stools a bit better andI am going to try and not feed as much baby food and see if we can wean away from that a bit but his appy is still a long way off so still taking it day by day with him but he seems to be slowly improving a small bit each day it was a week yesterday since he had a dose of cyclosprine.

Had you thought about adding some raw food into his diet. It may firm things up in the poo department. Likewise, a probiotic may help.

Hi guys .. oh sorry to hear about your outside kitty  hope she heals up ok .. Glad to hear do lou is making improvements, even if they are small and not as fast as we'd like, it sounds like he is doing better which is good!

Hi Sienne we have been using forti flora all along if he eats anyway as for the raw I do have primal in my freezer so maybe will thaw some out today for him

Glad to read Do Lou is doing a bit better!

Thank you for the update, Lisa. Crazy day, I'm glad Do Lou and the mama cat is doing better. Healing vines for her and for Mr. Do Lou. Feel better soon, kitties.
Liz

Hi Lisa, Wow, what a couple of days you have had. We hope that the mamakitty will be OK. She must know what good care you take of her. I'm glad that Do Lou is doing a bit better. Sometimes it takes time for these things to clear out of the system. Feel better, Do Lou! More healing vines and snowflakes are on the way.

Lots of hugs,

Ella & Rusty

Wow, pretty frantic times for you! Sometimes it seems like all the stuff hits the fan at once. Glad to see Do Lou is improving, and I hope your outside kitty is okay.

How awful that they were attacked.
I hope you can find a way to protect them...

unfortunately with living in the country like we do its hard to completely protect outside kids since their area is our garage but things get in there thru the cat door that do not belong.. Mama Kitty does seem better today back to sleeping in her heated box which is where the accident occured from what we can tell since there was stool and blood in there when I cleaned up and she is eating and not limping just hoping her wound does not abcess time will tell. Do Lou is about the same this pm ate very little and his numbers are horrible and he had terrible diarrhea just now I was hoping it would show some sign of improving. Keep those vines coming we still have a ways to go it would seem :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH:

Morning Lisa, what a day for your yesterday! Sending more healing vines for Do Lou and bm vines, too. I hope Mama Kitty will be okay. They are very lucky to have you looking out for them.

Lisa, I'm so sorry Do Lou is still not eating much. I am going thru the same thing and doesn't it makes you feel so helpless and frustrated trying to figure out what the problem is? And on top of worrying about Dou Lou, you have all the other problems with your outside kitties. I hope mamakitty will be ok.

DL, please, please eat for your mama.
