Good Morning World! Welcome to our home! Yesterday

DAKOTA
pm+7 - 246
AMPS 292

Oh yesterday was UGLY UGLY numbers day! I THINK it was a combo of a bounce and DH giving him 3 hard, high-carb treats. At least I'm hoping that was the cause. He'd jumped off the cliff between PMPS and pm+7 - dropped over 300 points so really did expect another bounce. Things were crazy around here this morning and I FORGOT his shot until an hour after normal time...dang gray hairs growing into my brain again. :) He peed on the plastic outside the litterbox sometime overnight - know it was him as I tested puddle with diastix - showed his sugar in it. He's gone btb, doesn't look like he's feeling overly well this morning.

It's finally warming up to normal temps in high 40's, lower 50's and sun is still out - WOOHOO! We got leaves cleaned out of the yard and burned yesterday afternoon, looks much better.

Honkin' doggies still honkin', Penny is about over hers but Sasha is still coughing a bit. Still have them separated from everyone else. Darla drooler has been refusing food last couple of mornings - evening is OK but not sure what's happening there. Nice thing about droolers - unlike cats, they won't starve themselves. They WILL eat so I'm not overly concerned. She's done this a few times before.

Nothing else 'newsy' this morning but will share a cute pic of Dakota - brought in an ice chest with frozen food. When I emptied it....well, this explains itself:

BIG HUGS to all that visit today! DANCE with us!

Ah heck...we've all done it so don't feel bad!

It's even worse when you go to the trouble of filling the syringe, testing/feeding and then walking off...Been there, done that!....LOL

Come on now Dakota...that's enough of the sunny yellows....let's see some pretty blues!!

With so much going on and so many furries I'm surprised that you don't forget more often, or end up giving the wrong meds to the wrong critters! What a wonderful crazy house you must have :)

Or, since we're confessing to our less than trap-door brains. Get up after a BTB in the morning and wonder, did I get up earlier and shoot the cat? Or have I slept through alarms?

Love the picture. I can hear him thinking, smells good, I think I'll pee in here.

Glad the woofers are getting better. Remember when my guy had kennel cough. Oh lordy. Only time he ever wanted to sleep on the bed...cough, cough, cough. And at 65 pounds, he coughed a good window rattling hack.

OK, Doc. Down to business.

Nice yellow start for Dakota. I can't imagine that cold cooler was very pleasant. Something new, I guess. Cats are so funny. No worries about the late shot. Many vines for the droolers to get over that nasty cough.
