Good Morning LL. After a horrible week weather wise things have finally calmed down. Now we just have freezing temps. Spikes been having some crazy numbers for him. Could be because he sees my suitcases out and is getting anxious. Dh and I are going to San Juan PR for three days then a cruise to the Caribbean for a week. This has been a long awaited vacation. Older DS will be taking care of Spike and Princess. I'll take the fat off Spikes dose and have ds shoot a straight 5.5 He knows to leave plenty of food out. I dont think he'll test much (he hates this part) and I do believe on this dose Spike will be just fine. Leaving pets at home is like leaving children, theres so much prep work to do. This ds has watched Spike twice before when I took longer vacations so I feel confident everything will be fine.

Great start for Spike!! It's good that DS will watch Spike, so you don't have to worry about anything. Hope you have a great time on your vacation! :)

Have a fabulous time! It's so nice that DS watches Spike and Princess while you are gone. I agree about getting ready to leave them, I always have to get out all the hypo lit, vet phone numbers and detailed instructions when we leave Talbot and Xena with DD's. Seems like it used to be easier to leave the kids. :-D
