Good Sunday Morning, Everyone,

Well, it's "only" -14 degrees F. here this morning, but that's cold enough!! I'm not so sure we'll be getting out to play in the snow today. The high is expected to be around +7. Tomorrow, however, it is supposed to be in the upper 20s.

Rusty had a good night sleeping with his beans. This morning we had a good test, breakfast (Wellness Turkey, first sitting so far), and shot. He has retreated to his cushion next to the radiator. In a little while I'll get him going on a game. Edward is getting ready to bake bread. That's a good thing for today, because the kitchen is cold and the oven being on will heat it up a bit! All of our window quilts and shades are still down against the cold, so I don't know whether the sun has come out yet!

The monthly potluck supper of our chapter of the Adirondack Mt. Club is tonight. Our portion of the alphabet is down for a salad.

Another beautiful morning for Rusty!

I guess 20 is downright balmy for you this time if year. :? I always like potluck dinners. Have fun!

Rusty is loving the cold weather....what a wonderful AMPS to start the day!

Have a good one and stay warm....fresh bread warms the home and the soul...enjoy!

Nice AMPS for Rusty. Wow, that is cold for all of you! It sounds like a good day to stay inside. Yum with baking bread!

Hi Ella,

It is cold here too. I don't blame you for not going out today. It was 9 degrees at my house this morning. brrrr. Rusty is doing so good. He is a very happy guy. Snuggling in this kind of weather makes it extra special.

Temperature is +2. We're going out for a walk. Rusty is chillaxin' in the sunbeams after his lunch. We had a good play earlier this morning.

Sounds like fun tonight - way cool
and there is nothing better than baking bread and bread smells on a cold winters day.

Precisely, that's the way it is at these potlucks!! I threw together my Tuscan tuna bean salad from Marcella Hazan's cookbook. It's easy and good. But I'd like just to pick up a bag of chips!!

We're off to the potluck (nice and early, so we can get home in time to test , feed and shoot Rusty). Then, tonight, "Downton Abbey" on PBS.

Rusty and I just had a great game with the wand and sack.

Our walk this afternoon (2 miles around a pond) was COLD!!

Back from the potluck, which was . . . well, it was. Rusty's shot this eve. was an "ouchie" and we may have lost a drop in his fur. But he made up for it with a fabulous play session. Now he's relaxing in his basket.

Off to visit condos before "Downton Abbey".

Very nice numbers today for Rusty! I hear ya on the ouchie shots, Leo says they are ouchie when the insulin is really cold. But I guess Rusty is on Lev so it wouldn't sting as badly.

Your potluck sounds delish, such a great way to get new recipes.

Winter has arrived here for us finally, snow, snow and more snow with temps supposed to hit -40 later on this week :shock: :shock: I hope you had a nice walk! You get a chance to try the new snowshoes yet?

I can only imagine how cold your walk was.... BRRRRRR comes to mind. probably as pretty as it was cold.
