Yesterday, blue cycles with green bookends.

1/14 Recap:
AMPS 95:D +7 142 +9 104
PMPS 88:D +4 147

I heard lots of noise and kerfuffle this morning before the TFS alarm. Sure enough - it was Neko yelling "I'm green, feed me". Lots of trotting back and forth from the beans to the kitchen. I think she was trying to herd me. Those beans, nothings worse than trying to herd a bunch of them. :p

We had a fantastic acupressure session after the shot this morning. I'm spending a little bit more time in the middle of the spine where the acupuncture vetty found sore muscles. Just as I got to the end of that section, Neko stretched out her front legs and did a huge sigh of contentment. :):)

Today - we are NOT going to the vet. Well, at least Neko isn't. Depending on the b/w and UPC ratio results, I may have to stop in and get more benazapril as I am almost out.

Hi Wendy. Hope you are well. :bighug:

Neko is looking great. Nice spread of greens. Is there a website that explains acupressure for cats? I would love to do it with remi. :)

I love the green PS numbers. I guess that's the Lev, huh? Cinco seems determined to start on the yellow floor and then get on the elevator down. Oh well, as long as he hits "down" and not "up"! :p

That acupressure sounds like a good thing for Neko. Is it hard to learn to do it?

Looks like another typical Neko day by the numbers. That and being curled up in her bed by my feet. A bit of rain, a bit of wind - not a solarium type of day at all.

@ Sarah, Laura, Tricia, Carla, Liz - Neko often nadirs around preshot on Lev, when she's not nadiring earlier or later. It took some getting used to coming from Lantus, but even on Lantus Neko had late nadirs. I once spotted one at +13. Neko's acupuncture vetty showed me how to do the acupressure. The idea with acupressure is that it supplements the acupuncture and makes the effects last longer to the next treatment. It's not that hard, it's just finger tip pressure on certain point. The only tricky bits are how much pressure and where. I have seen charts on line for the pressure points, but I'm just following the spine below the scapula, between the vertebrae, about 1.5 finger widths away from the central spine. That's where she gets most of her acupuncture. When she breaks into purrs in the middle or does her little sighs, it makes me feel so good that I can make her feel better.

And I bet those limber-now stretches are pretty heart-warming, too.

Unfortunately at my house, it's not always such a good thing when I put my hands on a cat. "Rowsie....*picking her up by her scruff and slinging her under my arm!* get out of there!" That's usually when she's sneaked into the linen closet to hide behind stacked sheets. She's spent more than one full day closed in there. Ahhhh, prefurred sheets. Nothing like it.

Nice day for Neko. Looking good little girl.

Yo Neko, You'll have to watch over the lagoon tonight while I'm up on shore. Surf safe!

Hi Wendy, How nice it is to read how well Neko responds to acupressure. Have a great evening.
