I'm glad to see you got an answer and it wasn't something really really awful.
Healing vines for Mannie and any other vines he needs.
Hope you find the balance right away to help him improve.

So relieved to hear this! Pancreatitis is a bummer but treatable. Do you need to give him fluids as well? Sorry to be late, was w/ DM this afternoon. Now you can relax tonight and have a nice glass of wine and a meltdown!

Michelle, pancreatitis is definitely treatable so I'm sure you are relieved there is nothing more serious going on. Give your big boy a hug from me!

YAY for answers! and YAY for treatable DX!!!!! and there will be another YAY when the right drugs have been prescribed, purchased, and in the kitty! Hi Rhiannon - many thanks! me too on the answer not being something really awful, it was such a relief. and me too on finding that balance for him. I think we have a good plan, so off we go to getting him to feeling better. :-D :-D

Hi Georgia - yes I am si relived, this isn't fun, but we are dealing with it ok, and he is slowly improving. YAY! That hug will be delivered! :-D

Hi Deborah - I SO AGREE! key word: treatable! yupp next steps is the drugs in the kitty. I am so there, and by tomorrow. and thank for the comments - it has been tough, the now knowing, but I hope we did OK. At least we have eliminated all possibilities, found the correct answer and can now treat and move forward. been one heckuva week! no doubt I will sleep better tonight.

Hi Ann - no worries - I so hope your DM is doing OK, I so need to get to your condo! yes, that it is - bummer, but he is already showing signs of improvement - it was pretty bad for a few days. No on the fluids. He isn't vomiting, and drinks well plus I give him syringes of water to make sure the intake is "up there". and BIG YES on the relax tonight and have a nice glass of wine and a meltdown! on my way to do that now. I so need that meltdown!! :cool: :lol: :lol:

Tess - ME TOO!!!!!!!! YES - can I keep the brush? it's from Stu's and all, and well it amide me feel really good. heeheehee on the leaves and flowers in my fur - no biggie! I never thought I would be glad to see pancreatitis, but i am glad Mannie has a treatable ailment & will completely recover--Thinking of you all day, so Glad he is OK!!! Hi Roni - I kn ow me too. Although none of this is fun, it was the lesser of the evils. A large part of me was glad to see it.... many thanks - he is slowly getting better.
