BOING said the bouncing cat. Yesterday started out well, a nice even blue surf, or so I thought... and had hoped... but Mannie's +9 that he had decided one more round on the trampoline was in order, and Mr Liver was happy to oblige. So we sound up the rest of the day in the pinks and the yellows. I truly did expect it - it is the new pattern: one good day one bad day... one day in the blues and greens, the next in the yellows and pinks. so..... since yesterday was not so good, I guess that means today will be on those really good. Mannie?: True? so so hoping for a repeat of Friday.... Lubs ya big guy! let's do it! cat_pet_icon

All is well In MannieLand Frozen MannieLand. :-D :-D Ok so we only got one inch.... but what a pretty inch, a cold inch, an inch where all furkids did not venture any further than a poke of the nose, and maybe one whisker, out the door.... Mannie has spent the day snoozin': on the nanners, in his bed, anywhere that said WARM. Nanners are warm? :? Guess so. He had them all lined up in a row, with him plopped on top. - love that mattress formation. later thy were in a semi-circle, and was he ever giving them a work out. I secretly suspect that Elsa had some doing in that. She must have snuck in a play time. Mannie sure was intent upon reclamation - no way should those nanners smell like his sister. :lol: :lol: Lick lick lick chew slobber roll chew lick lick lick, repeat: reclamation..... :cool: :cool: We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie,no kneads today though! Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, AND!: Elsa missed raiding his auto feeder, again! :o hmmmmmmm :lol: so no running interception: phew! Normalcy in MannieLand, sort of.

Have a great day everyone! no clue what will go down her today. I need to check out the roads, see what "Snow event" did to our ability to get around. Crazy "I know know what to do with snow on the roads" people live here - it is a nightmare... I may just end up walking through the woods, head on to the shore... It can be incredibly beautiful there when we have a snowfall. :-D

Hey everybody!! WOOT! and what a day yesterday! I had so much fun. Gracie brought a snowmobile! Va-ROOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM up and down the hills. Snow was flying everywhere! And the snow tunnels! SWEET!!! and thank you Tobey for not eating all the cimmamum cookies.... So what'd'ya guys wanna do today? Maybe some skiing? or.... maybe ice fishing!!!! I am ready for anything! And completely OT: below is a photo I took yesterday while out on a walk during our "snow event". I just liked the photo... nothing special, just a tree. It just looked so pretty....

Hi Michelle,
We are opting for just a walk around a pond, too. Too cold to be out for a long time. But the sun is out and the temp. now (at 10:15 A.M.) is -4 F. I figure it may warm up to Zero by this afternoon.
Maybe Elsa doesn't like the choice of food in Mannie's automat these days?

Hi Michelle, hoping for a blue surf today for Mannie. Wow, so snow is unusual there, huh! I used to work in Langley, VA and DC area, and it was similar situation there with a big snowfall. It's too bad it's so cold, too. Cute with the nanner artwork! :lol: I wonder why Elsa skipped the raiding of the fuds. She'll get back on track with it. :-D

Snow there is unusual?!? :shock: the roads must be horrible. It's amazing what a little bit of snow does to drivers :lol: it's always national news in Canada when Vancouver gets snow and everyone here always rolls their eyes :roll: :lol: :lol: But it really does cripple everything.

That yellow looks awfully close to blue! Cmon down Mannie!

Hey Mannie, I'm up for anything today, tobogganing sounds fun!

and it is a winter wonderland her today - stated snowing again about 2 hours ago, so of course I HAD to go out in it... Gorgeous out there!

Hi Linda - I am with you! Mannie seems, so far, to be on board too. We are blue at +5. Now if he can just hold onto that. :roll: Been on one walk already - set for another this afternoon: shoreline then when the tides will be out. Love snowfall at the shore...

Hi Ella - wow - yes on your cold. It is too cold to be out long. We are at 34, much better. I took a walk already - just so so pretty out there, and the snow was falling. prefect! It is something to think that your high today may be 0. BRRRRR! Not too sure on Elsa - she normally likes his fuds. Who knows - she was snuggled in her bed, maybe that was the better option. :lol:

Hi Ann - we made blue - YES!!! yes, we don't get much in the lowlands at all. mtns are a different story. so... when we get the stuff it just causes major issues for traffic. - nightmare comes to mind. we may get 1-3 events a season. and yes on elsa - no doubt she will be back. She knows there is good fuds in his feeder. :lol: :lol:

Hi Tracy - yep on the snow - lowlands it is unusual... not unheard of, just don't get alot of it. Now drive 30 minutes from here: whole new picture.... and yes traffic is a nightmare then - people do not know how to drive in it - awful results. and yes - I can see the Vancouver thing - I bet you guys are so seasoned to it all... must be a laugh at minute to watch other areas. :lol: :lol:

Rusty! DUDE! Yes!! A toboggan! that would be good. I've was out this AM early, did a prelim run down the hill - excellent conditions! My bean said I could fire up the fire pit, so that is roaring now. Woo HOO - fun times await!

What a pretty blue +5! The weather doesn't seem to bother Mannie.

I think first snow fall anywhere causes problems. I remember in MN first snow was a day to stay home, until people get the feel of it again.

Sorry to get to your condo so late tonight. Mannie looked good in blue again today! YAY Mannie. Hope he has all his nanners arranged for a good night's sleep.

Wow on the snow....looks pretty but definitely would want to be inside near the fire. Hope you get lots of rest tonight. Ni Ni.

Mannie..we can PULL the tobaggan with the snowmobile!!! We can all pile on and around we go!!
