We really thought that we had a furshot last night! Guess not! I didn't even want to see her numbers at +6 and saved a strip. As Liz says "Crazy cat!", and silly bean. I'm sure we'll be using that saved strip and more today.

WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club, Vines to all the kittehs in need of them and hugs to all their beans.
 
That was quite some turn-around last night for Miss Tess....talk about keeping the beans on their toes! Surf it safely today, Tess...no need to be jumping all over the map!

I'm going to try to track down some Dave's locally to see what Trix thinks...we have a very nice high-end Ma and Pop pet food/supply store that might have it. I've never heard of SmallBatch, either...what's the scoop on that one?

@Amy&TrixieCat Tess isn't a fan of the Dave's 95% Chicken and the 95%Turkey is way to high in Phos for a CKD kitteh. Her favorite is the Turkey and Giblets and that is also the best for Phos, 215mg/100kcal. You might look into Nulo though. The Phos is 200 or less on most of them, and although I had to fudge the SS a little ( it wouldn't calculate the carb ME without the Protein As Fed even though they gave me the Carb As Fed :banghead: , so I had to use the GA for the protein and fat

I've also just found out that it should be carried at Whole Foods! That would make life easier. They also have a "Medal" line sold only at Petco Petsmart, I don't know if there is any significant difference in what is in the can or just keeping Petco Petsmart happy w/ an "exclusive". I have a call in to the company.

On the SmallBatch that is raw food sold only on the west coast. Everything is locally sourced and they have a couple of plants to keep distribution close to the source.

Just got a call back from Nulo rep. The Medal series canned cat food is just a rebrand of the Freestyle, so all the numbers are the same! But it is at PETSMART not Petco!

Apparently there is a difference in the dog food, but not the cat food. He will get me the numbers for protein, fat and fiber so I can get the final calculations. It may take a few days as the nutritionist is traveling. Great customer service and very prompt response.

Looks like we've got another good fud that is readily available!:p:p:joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::cat::cat::cat:
 
Wow on last night''s cycle- That +3 almost looks like a bad test strip. Your Food List is amazing, I don't know how you come across such a variety of great fuds-I am delighted there is a Small Batch location not too far from me and I can get the Nulo at Petsmart, it's even closer- thanks for maintaining that list and making it available with food values!
