Dear Bron - such heartbreaking news and I am so, so, so sorry for you, your family, and Sheba and Jess. The picture you posted of Sheba is absolutely gorgeous - what striking eyes. Sending peaceful thoughts to you :bighug::bighug::bighug:

((((((((Oh Bron))))))))
I too am crying, both for the devastating news and for how your heart is breaking:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Right now I'm mad too at how unfair things are:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
I don't really have any words, there really are none but want to be sure you know my heart is there with you and trying desperately to find something to do or say to ease your heartache:bighug:

Thank you all for your lovely messages and for the vines and prayers.

Oh ((((((Bron))))))
such awful news....
the inability to sit on you is such a terrible thing. I remember well the behavioural changes that something was wrong.
Do you have a pet heating pad she can lay on, it might help her pain?
When Shadow couldn't come sit on me any more, I just got under the dining room table with her where she was and laid with her.
Lots of love for your beautiful girl....
Lots of Scritches.....

@rhiannon and shadow (GA) yes I am noticing behavioural changes too. She will no longer eat from her autofeeder which she loved and is not jumping up any more.....
I don't think she is in pain. The specialist didn't think she would be...but she certainly doesn't like her tummy being pressed. I am giving her tramadol twice a day and have bupe if necessary. If she starts to get constant pain I will be helping her cross. She has a self heating bed which she uses every day but she seems to prefer to just lie flat out on the floor boards at the moment.

This morning she ate all her first meal really well .....I gave it to her over a period of an hour......I usually do that because historically she would gobble it all down then vomit. Now she is happy to eat small amounts often and will sit up and meow when I bring it in. Her AMPS were 92 on 2.75 units so she is really going down the scale fast now......for all the wrong reasons sadly:(
I am trying to take each day as it comes and enjoy Sheba and Jess.
Thank you to everyone for sending lovely messages and for the wonderful support. It really does help.

((((Bron))) this is the worst news ever. And not only Sheba, but Jess too. I'm so sorry. I can only hope that you have as much time as possible.

A million hugs and healing vines coming your way. :bighug:
