Rusty's first yellow number of the new year! I don't think I gave a fur shot last night, so it must be the cat (and maybe the Wellness Core Turkey & Duck, although he hasn't had any of it since lunch yesterday). Depending of what happens today, I may take him back up a notch to a fat 1.25. We are on day 47 of this cartridge of Lev., so perhaps it is time to start a new one.
Whatever! Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He ate all his nighttime food and was hungry for breakfast. We had a good test, a good shot (I think), and a breakfast buffet of Wellness Turkey, Wellness Chicken, and FF T&G. The can of Wellness Core is gone. I may go to Plattsburgh today, and if I do I will get a few more cans so that I can get a better idea of how he likes it and how it affects him.
Our warm, damp weather continues, but today it is supposed to get progressively colder with rain and snow showers this afternoon. No major snowfall is in sight, however, so we are back to square 1 when it comes to XC skiing and snowshoeing. Some of my friends are climbing a moderate-sized mountain on Wednesday, but I'm not sure if I will go, as it is bound to be very icy up there. The climb was supposed to be on snowshoes.
Wishing you all a good start to the week. Sending healing vines to Mannie, Do Lou, Salem, Moonie, Cleo, Fitzel, and all kitties and beans who can use some. Mannie and Zener are both to have ultrasound this week, and we hope for good results. Sending deepest sympathy to Lynn on the passing of Bear.
