Brave Polly! She was such a champ at the vet for her blood draw today. Sitting right up front in her carrier, looking all around. Even at the dogs hanging out in the waiting room. Lots of "oh, my. what blue eyes," from other clients. (Remember that this was Miss Untouchable last April. She used to hide under her bedding when in the carrier at the vet.)
Receptionist, tech, vet. All claimed she looked so much better than last July when they saw her last. Miss Polly was just sort of ho-hum about the whole process. Yeah, yeah, yeah I've been through tougher stuff than this before. No big deal. Results should be back next week sometime.
I'm pretty sure she was disappointed when we got home. I suspect she was hoping for a longer car ride topped off with a room at an extended stay motel!
Tonight she's busy meatloafing in the utility hallway by the back door. No, she's feeling fine. Mouse in the house. Behind the washing machine. That cat's got focus! Staring, staring, staring. I'm not even sure the call of freeze dried chicken will break the stare. The other two cats and "retriever" dog...ah, boring, we're not interested.
@Peg and Toby Yes. Polly had SRT at CSU early September.
Vines and wishes.

Gee, sounds like kind of a routine vetty visit. Where's the fun in that?
