Yesterday was quite a day. Back to blue this morning though. I awoke to Max trying to hack up fur without success and had to drag him out from under the bed again. He did eat his baby food and came in to help me measure the insulin.

No poop yet.:eek: Appy not so great to start which is typical of any number over 100 for amps. He should eat the ff by +1.5. Maybe furball bothering him.

Prayers and vines to all in need.

I think there's a good chance he went under 40 last night and the 43 was also enough to cause the bounce, Chris. If so I'm sure he will let me know soon enough. I hope you and Chin and Amy and Trixie have a nice evening.
 
He didn't get rid of the hair/fur ball but I didn't hear any more hacking while I was here. The pumpkin worked though.Thanks for stopping by Laura and Carla.

Thanks for stopping by Marilyn. Not sure what's up with Max other than the low numbers yesterday. His appy is down and his numbers now not too bad. He didn't touch his dinner which is unlike him but did eat the treat after his test. He's been on my bed every time I've looked at him since he ate at +6. Hopefully just an off day.
 
Whoa Max tried to jump off the deep end last night didn't he!! :eek: I am sorry about the hairball- I sure hope he's feeling better though. Did he seem constipated- or did he eat anything for dinner? Sending appy and healing vines for my buddy! :bighug::bighug:
 
So far all he ate was some freeze dried chicken. If he ignores his ff I'll try some baby food in an hour. Thanks Ruth.
 
Thanks, Chris. I threw out the old food and just gave him some fresh ff turkey with Stella on top and he ate it so maybe there was too much pumpkin with the other food. I do think he is also working on a hairball.
 
I've found you have to be careful not to put too much pumpkin (or in our case, squash) in the food. The percentage of cat food must be higher. Cinco is not terribly picky, but he does prefer that the main ingredient be cat food.

Sending "Out Damn Hairball" vines for Max. I hope he's feeling better. Cinco made a cameo appearance in the lagoon tonight. I'm sure he was looking to hang with Max and Skooter.
 
Thanks, Tricia. Max did that cameo as well. He pooped late last night, a normal amount that time so hopefully that will help as well.
