1/14 Max 97 - new dose of 0.1u given this morning

Happy Fursday LLanders. Hope everybody is having a great day. We have started the dose reduction this morning (dropping from .25 to 0.1) My plan is to let this dose get past the new dose wonkiness and then do a curve probably on Saturday to see how things are going with it. Figure I will give him a few days to adjust to it.

WCR: He's been a crazy kitty this morning. He wouldn't sleep with me last night but decided instead to sleep out in the living room. He woke me up at 2:00 am wanting his snackus and then this morning for his brefus by continuous scratching at the bedroom door. He is now at this very moment rolling around on the living room floor with a supersized tennis ball (the drooler's ball). One of his favorite things to play with other than his mousie. He grabs it and holds it tight to his belly and just rolls around. I did notice this morning after he finished his brefus and went to the LB that there was slightly more urine output than normal. I will keep an eye on that.
 
Moonie is so proud that Max is doing so well!! Maybe he could talk to her...Maybe great things are coming from this dosecrease!!!! :razz: :razz:

Awww, I can just imagine Max playing with the droolers ball...I bet that is the cutest thing to see.
Sorry he didn't want to sleep w/you last night.
Good luck with the dosecease....hopefully Max won't notice!

Well so far so good with the new dose. Doesn't seem to have affected him at all. Of course it's only been one day so fingers crossed that he doesn't jump on me tomorrow. But if he does, I'm sure he will level back out.

WCR: He has been a crazy kitty today. I didn't get any spot checks on him because I had a bunch of errands to run today, but while I was here he was racing up and down the hallway batting one of the kittens jingly balls (never saw him play with it before). I got a great picture of him playing with the supersized tennis ball and his mouth is wide open (caught him just when he was getting ready to bite down on the ball and attack it. I just have to figure out how to put it on here. But he's been fantastic today.

DH got home tonight so we are getting ready to go out and eat some yummy Mexican food (that is if DH can get away from Max - he won't leave his side - following him all around the house). I am going to do a spot check on him when we get back from dinner. I am contemplating whether to do a curve tomorrow or wait and do it on Saturday. I'm leaning towards Saturday because that will give him time for the new dose wonkiness to settle down and I should get a more accurate curve. Any thoughts?

Well, see ya'll after dinner. I'll be back to post his spot check and check out other condos.

We are very pleased with this number. I'm going to leave him be for the night because I don't expect him to drop much lower. I've gone to bed on lower numbers than this so I'm calling it a night and going to do some snuggle time with my boy for being so good today.

Jill - if you happen to see this, let me know what your thoughts are on doing a curve - tomorrow or Saturday. I'm leaning towards Saturday to give him one more day on this dose before I try to get some good data numbers.

His shed has to be teeny weeny on this dose, so probably a curve tomorrow would be fine if that's what you want to do. Or Saturday. Whichever. ;-) I'm sure that was very helpful.

honestly, i don't think a full curve is necessary. :-D
i'd get some nadir checks for sure. if he presents you with any blue ps numbers i would feed and retest 3 - 4 hours later to see if he brings himself down.
