http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/1-13-luci-amps-213.209362/#post-2319549 And there's the winner of the high bounce! Miss Luci. She took the gold medal last night for highest swan dive and surfed for a bit after teasing the sharkies with her antics! OMG! What a ride! I am not a fan of roller coasters...but Luci doesn't care...up/down...wheeeeeee! She's feeling fine and enjoying the whole thing...nice purry kitty this morning...just waiting to throw us the next curve ball. Happy Monday everyone in L&L Land! Sending prayers and thoughts to those in need and welcome to many new members.
Wish she didn't do the roller coaster dives, but I'm glad she is recovering quickly from the bounce instead of lingering in the high numbers. DARK GREEN surfs please Luci! Maybe if we keep repeating it?
At least Luci only has a very short time in pink or yellow! Ravan's bg is driving me crazy, he gets stuck in the high #'s for so long!! Just a week ago he was doing so good. This morning he has a runny nose? No temp or any signs of a clod. He's eating good also. His sister Peggy Sue has the drippy nose too? It seems to have come with the snow & colder weather (they don't go out when it's cold. ) Just another thing to worry about
Have you ever tried Zyrtec? My civvie Baby has been sneezing on and off with the cold weather and 1/4 of a tablet of Zyrtec helps her. Sorry for the hijack.
I just read that cats with Kidney disease should not be given Zyrtec,Ravan has kidney disease My other kitty Alice has stomatitis for many years & I read the Zyrtec can help with that ! I'm excited to try it on Alice. Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe it will work for her. Lately, it’s been determined that a significant percentage of cats affected by these eosinophilic diseases respond well to Zyrtec. Complete remission of symptoms is actually possible for some once this drug is initiated. So far, this seems to be true for all eosinophilic cases, save those of the respiratory variety (Who knows why?). This info may help someone else's kitty I wonder where I can post it so more people can see it?
@JoyBee&Ravan Sorry you can't use the Zyrtec for Ravan. I hope it helps your civvie. That's interesting about the eosinophilic diseases.
