Happy Tuesday, LL! We are starting off with a sunny yellow :-D Thanks for night stalking...er visiting us last night Marje :lol: Yesterday: Chyna 1/13

Hopefully baby girl will come down to a nice (but not too low) number as I work. I'm planning on lunch at home to check her :cool: Last night Chyna was a bit interested in hiding and didn't seem happy but that may have been the yucky subqs. She was purring this morning and looking for breffis, which she ate most of before going back to sleep on the bathroom mat again instead of a cozy bed :roll: Today is our Cartrophen shot day, and I'm hoping to see some improvement after this one, paws crossed!

Have a good day, guys! I'll be visiting condos shortly, as long as work stays slow :razz:

Hi Rachel, I also hope for quiet moments at work to lurk on the board :lol: Nice sunny start for Miss Chyna today, hoping she visits the blue floor at +6!
Fingers crossed that this is the shot that makes you see an improvement in her moving.

Hi Rachel,
Glad to see that Chyna has gotten over last night's crankiness. Poor little girl. If only there was some way to let them know how much we hate having to stick and prod them but that it's for their own good. Paws crossed over here too that she sees some nice lower numbers today. Hope you both have a great day.

I hope that Chyna's shot today will really help. Maybe she'll decide that her bed is more comfy than the bathroom mat!

I hope Chyna slides down today and gives you some blue. Hopefully the Cartrophen will help her soon.

Good morning, Rachel.

Glad Chyna was a little less grumpy today. Hope she slides down to blue for you, and that the shot makes her more comfortable. I've never understood why cats seem to prefer harder surfaces to soft for napping. I think I've mentioned that Minka's favorite spot is on my DH's desk, right in front of his monitors (yes, that's plural - he's a computer geek), on top of pens and screwdrivers, etc! :shock: She sleeps there all day! Strange. :roll:

If you're handing out snow, please send some here. It'll turn to rain at my house, which is just fine, but the nearby Sierra Mountains could REALLY use it! We just had the driest year on record and no precip forecast for January at all - and this is supposed to be our wettest month of the year! Water rationing will start soon. :sad:

Hope you have a nice, uneventful day at work and quitting time comes quickly! :-D

Don't you just hate it when work gets in the way of what's important. (lol) I hope the shot does the trick for your baby and that she does indeed start to feel more comfortable. How long have you been giving her that shot? Come on down just another floor Chyna.

Whoops, wrong way again Chyna! I'm not sure what this is from? Unless she went lower than I thought last night and bounced...or needs a dosecrease tomorrow, which I was assuming? Argh ohmygod_smile

I managed to change the syringe for the Cartrophen to a Terumo (21g that we use for subqs) and we did our injection at lunch, no problems, not even a jerk from Chyna. What a good kitty! cat_pet_icon

-Tricia, you are right, weird looking uncomfortable places that cats find a great place to sleep makes me go :roll: I wish I could share the snow with you and Ella!

-Lauren, I know right? How dare work actually take me away from my cat! ;-) We just did Chynas third injection (if you count the first that I may or may not have sprayed all over the wall in subqs); she gets one twice a week for a month, then once a week for a month...tapering off, etc. Paws crossed it helps :-D

I'm glad the cartrophen shot went well today! When Mario was on Adequan, it did take a couple weeks of shots before we started results; after that, he was good to go.

I'm a work-lurker, too...I post from work if and when I can, but that's not too often.

Thanks Amy...it's hard to sign in at work sometimes to post if we're busy but if we're slow I chance it, otherwise just lurk to read condos if I can. She didn't read her condo today :cry: We are RED! :evil:

What did this come from? Is it a bounce from yesterday? Blech, she only dropped around 130 that I saw... I was planning on a dosecrease tomorrow to 4u...good idea? I won't be home to monitor...best I can do is a +6 at lunch.

On a good note, sweet girl seems to be walking a bit easier. She's still walking a few steps, then sitting, but she actually came to the kitchen to plop down and wait for fuds, and the hallway, and the bedroom. Oh, oh, I hope this is the cartrophen and not my imagination if she was just hungry nailbite_smile I'm not expecting a miracle, just gradual improvement. Please let this be her getting better and the pain going down :!: :-D

Well, it's time for MY fuds now. The ketones test trap is set in the litterbox and now we wait...BBL, LL!
