Really glad I got all my errands ran yesterday as right now we have sustained winds of 25mph with gusts of 40-50mph. Just not in the mood to deal with those kind of winds while driving a pickup truck. Especially after dealingwith The Daughter yesterday. Love her to death but fifteen minutes with her right now and I want to choke her.

She has yet more charges for shop lifting and has a court date at 9:30 a.m. today and just called wanting me to take her, even after me telling her that yesterday was the only day this week that I would have the truck. She has also neglected to mention that the court is in Madison County which is a mere 250 miles away. I only know this because I got the letter at the house. Hmmmm lets do the math here....High profile vehicle that gets 20mpg, 50mph winds for a 2 hour drive each way with a woman that you have lied to and stolen from and who still did you a favor yesterday and you couldn't keep your mouth shut and not start a fight with for half an hour yesterday and no offer of gas money. So not happening.

Wow!!! You certainly have your hands full! Here I was worried that the wind might cause you to fall again (how is that tailbone?)

Tell Autumn and Casey that Alska will be down to the swimming hole a little later - after his morning nap!

Tailbone is healing pretty well at least I can sit again without the inflatable pillow. It's the back that still sore but I basically ripped all the muscles loose from the bones on the left side of my body from my arm pit to my hip. I have to wear a corset for another two weeks. It was actually humorous when they gave me their version at the ER, because Jon blurts out "Oh she has plenty of those at home" Then I had to tell them...yes I in fact do have a closet full and yes they are steel boned and not flimsy fashion ones. lol

John was actually lucky you were in pain during that remark. Damn John, don't tell everybody! :o

Kitties looking good today, even Lucian joined them at the swimmin' hole. :-D

Sure sounds like you've got your hands full Mel! So hard to see someone you care about making dumb choices. And I have to agree with you, high profile vehicles and wind really, really don't mix. Glad you are feeling a little bit better after your fall. It just sounds so painful and I'm always so impatient when it comes to wanting to be back to "normal."

Fingers crossed Max can join Autumn and Casey in the water today...cause it's lookin' so good and so are they.

Good job on standing your ground with the stepdaughter! I know how difficult it is to say "No" to family members, but sometimes, you have to.

And those are lovely pre-shot numbers for both Autumn and Casey! Mikey is jealous, but I told him it's his own fault. Maybe that'll get his numbers behaving this afternoon.

Come one, come all, Jellicle cats come to the Jellicle Ball. Casey says the water's fine and Autumn has spread the blanket on the lawn just waiting for her friends to dine.

There's nothing like a little friendly competition if it keeps their numbers that low. ;-)
