Good Sunday Morning, Everyone,

We are sending many prayers, healing vines and good thoughts today to our kitties who are in need: Mannie, Do Lou, Salem, Zener, Cleo, and all other kitties not feeling well--please get better soon!

Rusty is a trifle high this morning. It could be the new Wellness Core Turkey and Duck, which he likes a lot, or it could be that he finished his nighttime food just before AMPS. In any event, he clearly likes Core Turkey and Duck. I am serving it along with his usual foods so that he doesn't get it exclusively. So, since he free-feeds, his bowl contains some Wellness Turkey (or Chicken), some FF T&G, and some Core Turkey and Duck. This morning we had a good test and shot and a good combing and schmooze. He is now chillaxin' in his little bed by the radiator. He had a lot of fun at bedtime last night, batting his bell balls around and pouncing on the catnip toys his Auntie Linda brought him.

While the West Coast is in the deep freeze, we are having spring-like weather again today. It was 32 degrees already at 6 A.M. and now (almost 10 A.M.) is is 42 degrees. We expect temps. to be almost 60 later today. The snow is rotten and useless. There is a lot of open water on the flowed lake in town and people are wondering if it will be possible to cut enough ice to build the ice palace for Winter Carnival, which begins the first week of February.

Wishing you all a good day. We'll be going for a walk around Moody Pond this afternoon, wearing shoes, not boots! Edward is baking bread this morning.

Nice start of the day for Rusty. Sounds like you have a nice day planned.

I think I'll look for some of the Wellness Core Turkey & Duck for PurrFace to try.

Hi Ella

Hope Rusty comes down today to green and good to hear you have found another food he likes always great to find a low carb food they will eat :mrgreen: I had just tried a new food for Do Lou when this hit I did not note it in my SS guess I should since it sits in my head wondering if it had any play in whats happening he ate it well at 2 sittings it was this product

I like your buffet in one bowl idea. i bet it keeps all the foods from getting boring.. thanks, gonna try that.

I hope you walk is great. What's with the temperature? There's some odd weather all over the place. Hope it doesn't make Moody Pond turn into Muddy Pond. ohmygod_smile

Morning Ella, I' glad Rusty likes the Wellness Core Turkey and Duck. I'll have to check the phosphorus. Mags seems to like a lot of the same fuds Rusty eats! You will have 60ish, too, today. Bruce & Simon also have the nice warm temps. It does ruin your snow though. We all get excited to see frost on our car windows as rarely happens here. Hope LagoonMeister gets on the stick today and returns. Have a nice day.

Good job Rusty - I am relieved that the lagoon Meister is still on duty. I am sure you will be back in it in no time. :-D

YAY on the new food! I had bough some for Mannie a while back, hadn't tried it yet. It is good to know that it is Rusty approved.

:shock: on your weather! we are 26 and frozen solid. It is hard to believe that you may make 60 today. bummer on the snow.... i so hope that the ice palace will come to be this year. I remember you talking out it every winter. Paws crossed that the weather is just temp thing.

Time to get back to work Rusty. You didn't catch Tess in her scuba gear last night! The whole reason I got the 5 compartment feeder was because it can turn to an empty compartment at +10.

Well, it will be a pleasant walk today at least. I hope the weather gets back to normal everywhere soon.

:evil: on the January thaw! But maybe Rusty likes a few bare spots of ground? Paws crossed the new tasty fuds aren't too BG spikey.

Good Morning Ella, Stu and Rusty. Hope you have a wonderful walk, without boots, and also sending vines for ice for the Winter Carnival.

Tuffy sometimes finishes her late night snack shortly before amps. Oh well, it is what it is.

Weather has been very strange this year. We have gone from a low of 29 to lows in the 30s and 40s and now back to mid 80s. Hope we can all survive the swings.

Have a wonderful day. Enjoy the bread. Nothing like fresh baked bread. My favorite is Dill Bread. Good thing I don't make it too often, I could eat the whole 2 loaves. LOL

Morning guys! Hope you see the green lagoon! Nice to have some warmer temps for you guys, it was high 20's here last night very cold for us! Hope you guys will have enough ice for the carnival sounds fun. Have a great Sunday and enjoy our walk outside!

Nice to see the Lagoon Meister is back at work again. Tess and Neko got caught in some rip-tides last night, and I think it was OliverTwist who helped pull them out. These girls really do need Rusty's supervision when they go swimming. :lol:
