yesterday's condo
Nice, uneventful day for the sugar boys yesterday. Mandarin was flat and blue and Walter stayed in safe numbers all day. It would have been the perfect day to run errands if the weather hadn't been so crappy. So, instead, I have a few things I have to do this afternoon (if the boys let me, that is).
The bad news is that my mom slipped on the ice and broke her ankle in several places. There was still too much swelling yesterday, so they are waiting until Monday to do the surgery and put in a plate. I really wish that I didn't live 4,000 miles away ...and I also wish that my 70-year-old mother wouldn't ride her bike to the grocery store in the freezing rain (and, yes, they do have a car - she just thought it would be a good idea to get some exercise).
