For some cats, you don't see what the new dose can do until the 5th or 6th cycle. It definitely builds your patience skills!
Yesterday you asked "Will the numbers just keep staying like this until I finally reach a good dose for Darcy, or will I see any gradual progress as the insulin increases?".
The frustrating thing about insulin dosing is that you don't always see gradual progress as you increase. Insulin is a hormone, not a drug, so you have to just keep increasing until you get to that dose that moves him. However, it does help to know that there is a dose out there that WILL move him. Keep increasing and you will find it safely.
