Zener is working on his sliding skills today (anti-jinx). He got a dosecrease from a skinny 1.25u to a fat 1.25u. We started a new pen recently too so we are keeping that in mind. His appetite wasn't very good this morning so I have him a another piece of cypro, then massaged his tummy, then 0.1 ml of bupe. I felt like a drug pusher. :roll: Then I went for a walk and when I came back, he ate 1.7 oz, which is as much as he ever eats at a time. :lol: So I don't know what did it, but something got him going. He'd lost about 4 oz last week so I hope he can get into better numbers to keep his weight up. I did get a negative ketone test today - yay! He was back to being wobbly this morning, which could be due to higher numbers or the adequan shot from Thu wearing off. That was his first one so it wouldn't last very long if there is any effect at all.

OT: Anne is doing fine in Germany. I have to chase her off to bed at midnight her time, 4 pm our time. She is very chatty! :lol: :lol:

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Rhiannon's Shadow, Melissa & Tarragon's friends Kaitlyn and Chelsea, Mariko's Lucy. I'm surely forgetting someone. Comfort vines to Ann & Tess. Looks like Sassy it OTJ tomorrow! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Hope everyone has had a great Caturday!

I hope Zener keeps sliding down today. I'm glad Zener finally ate for you. Hopefully the Adequan will help soon.

Hi Liz, you drug pusher, you! :lol: Zener is doing a great job of sliding today! I'm glad his appy kicked in. Hopefully it won't take long for the Adequan "loading dose" to last and help him out, paws crossed! Anne must miss her Liz, Zener and Tillie family to be so chatty :-D Hope you are feeling better, and have a good rest of your Caturday!

Hi Liz! Zener is really getting this slide thing figured out nicely :-D Great news on his appy, probably helps to have a 'drug pusher' in the house to give you the munchies :lol: :lol: I hope the Adequan does it's job for the Zman. That stuff is supposed to be wonderful.
Poor Anne must miss you all so much. It would be very difficult I would think, to be away! Sounds like you're still fighting this virus but making decent headway and yay to that :smile:

Sending prayers and healing vines for your niece and her family. I hope that she will be ok and they come up with a wonderful treatment plan. I will be sure to watch for an update.

I see plenty of discussion yesterday about the adequan. I use the insulin syringes for that too...much easier and smaller needle.
Those harpoons from the vet were awful....
and you know, I thought it was just a bad brand and went and bought the big terumo tuberculin syringes for the adequan and they were just as dull and harpoonlike.
Must just be that bigger size is awful no matter what brand....
